UK shoppers please offer advice! Argos Exclusive

I have the money to go down to the local argos tomorrow & get the Voyager Optimus Prime with the "free" Bumblebee. Now, the Argos site shows Voyager Prime with a '76 BB, & it claims Bumblebee fires 2 Projectiles. But I swear I heard it was an '08 BB that came in the two pack. Could someone clarify for me which BB it is before I go tomorrow morning, possibly to be let down.

It is said to contain the modern Bumblebee and the secrets of the universe. Of course no-one will ever truly know, as Argos are :-x
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

Hrrm, oh well, of course they won't have any so it wont matter XD
I'll go anyway, unless someone tells me it's definitely not the '08... If I'm getting Prime, I'm getting him with BB, I don't find enough incentive to get one without the other as I already have protoPrime & '76 BB...

It is the 08 bee - proof in the disgruntled brits thread -http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=42&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=2505&sid=

The pictures on the website are often wrong.

Just go up to the till and ask for Customer View. They'll bring it down for you to have a wee nosey then you can decide to buy it or not.

You can always go to the Argos website and try reserving it online. That'll tell you if it's in stock or not.

Good point, thanks.
Though that just deals with delivery stock. It doesn't tell you if there are figures in your local. Worth a try though.

Good luck... they never have it in stock in any Argos near me. Seems like I've been checking their website everyday all month.

Yes it does. Make sure you click "reserve for store pick-up" and they'll ask for your postcode and you can check the stock in something like the 10 nearest Argos stores to you.

Ah, I didn't know that.
Well I went down & there wasn't anything there. They checked all local stores & same response. But, get ready for the silver lining, I went into a Woolworths later in the day & found the '08 BB anyway. Last one. Lucky day ^^ I saved £15. I didn't really want the Prime as much so there you go, £15 to spend on another transformer later ^^
