Dude, it's not going to happen. Hasbro said that after Soundwave they were done.

Technically that Soundwave is a Classics line figure.

Commemorative Series is dead and buried, alongside Universe.

However there are the Encore line of figures, that have released Prime, Megatron and Soundwave thus far, with plans for Ratchet and Ironhide in the not too distant future.

I consider the Soundwave a commemorative, not a Classics.
Why, the box says Commemorative Edition and it is a reissue.
The Classics were, for the most part, new molds, The Soundwave
isn't, it was cut from a preexisting G1 mold.

The next ones we were suppoed to get were Ramjet and Trailbreaker. We may eventually get these through the Encore line IMHO.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

All true, but Soundwave was never part of the Commemorative Series, as he has no Series number.

Wrong! Its commemoritive it actually says so on the box, its just in classics style packaging.

Wrong again! Hasbro never say never especially where there's money to be made from cashing in on 20 year old figures. As for the Universe line it's not so much dead as living on under another name, that of Classics. It was even recently dubbed Classic 2.0 Universe at SDCC.

I like the Encore series. I have SS. I'm afraid to open him. Great new, err, old collection though.

Can I play the 'wrong!' game too? :P

Classics 2.0 was announced at BotCon where they explained Universe would "continue" under it.

Funnily enough I already knew that but recently at the SDCC slides were shown depicting Classics 2.0 Sidswipe, Sunstreaker and Octane which used the 'Universe' moniker, that was the link to Universe I was refering to.

I think I saw those too.

The ones with Sunstreaker and Sideswipe?

Those were shown to us at BotCon at their little 'hush hush' Sunday program. But yea, SDCC was the first time all this had been shown to the general public.
