New Official Images of Titanium G1 Ultra Magnus and War Within Megatron
This past weekend we reported here that the members of the Transformers Collectors Club had a special sneek peek at 6 inch Titanium Transformers G1 Ultra Magnus and War Within Megatron in package. We also reported here earlier today that official images of Titanium War Within Megatron had been posted. Now TFW2005 has posted an image of War Within Megatron in package. They also posted official images of G1 Ultra Magnus in package and out of package in both robot and alt mode. Click here to check out the images.

Does Megatron even have a face?
I was hoping his tank mode would look good, but the first thing I think of when I see his tank mode is Cybertron Menasor, i.e. put the robot on his stomach and there you go. And that's not a good first thought to have...
Magnus on the other hand is absolutely beautiful and may be the first Titanium I actually buy, since I really need a proper Ultra Magnus figure in my collection, one that isn't just an ugly, white-washed Optimus Prime.

Yeah that is a pretty weak tank but that bot is awesome.
Now, I just wonder if they'll repaint the Ultra Magnus into a Prime?

Ultra Magnus looks so good I want to buy Rodimus Prime. You know it's a good figure when it's so good you want to now buy another figure to stand there and watch you play with the 1st figure you bought.

Pretty sure that the alt mode for Megatron is, as usual, transformed incorrectly. I'm pretty confident that the legs still need to shift outwards and up closer to the torso area for the tank mode to be complete. It's a very basic transform, as are ALL the War Within designs, so I doubt they made this as simple as just clicking the legs together, folding in the feet, rotating the torso and laying him down.

Ultramagnus is absolutely stunning great job. As for War within Megatron his robot mode is great powerfull and evil looking just as Megatron should be as far as his Cybertronian tank mode goes I know most of us thinks it sucks and even though I too think that it could have looked a little better, the more I look at it the more I like it. Think about it Megatron has at least 3 guns in tank mode that we can see and is actually very formidable looking definately Cybertronian and not earth looking so yeah I am definately picking him up besides I need him to balance the playing field with my war within Prime.

I haven't really gotten into Titaniums, only own 3 of the 3" ones, but some of these look really good.

Heh... Frankly, Skowl, this version of Megs makes Menasor look like Classics Astrotrain.
SO now we have two horrible Titanium Megatrons.
Magnus, on the other hand? Very nice.

I like Magnus better then Megs, but when you put steak next to ground beef steak will always win. I still love my tacos and hamburgers though

Hey Bot Marley, Rodiums is a fantastic figure and he'll be even better with Magnus making sure he doesn't screw things up on your shelf. Either way I'm really looking forward to both of these figures (shame they couldn't get it to look like DWs WW Megatron, that thing was aces.)

Yikes. Megs really is quite bad.
Ah well, good enough for me I guess.
UM is a brill figure! Can't wait to put him with the Classics and Alts on the cool shelf I have.

You can tell Megs is mistransformed. He has a hip panel thats just flapping in the wind. That is a damn fine Magnus though.
