How hard is it to make a trailer
I got the new leader optimus prime he has a place for you to put a trailer but yet it dosen't come with one. Most of the prime toys I have don't have trailers which makes them look less realistic.i mean it'll cost you 2 cents to make a trailer in China but the master piece trailer cost $80 WTF

Well, for 1, it will cost more than $.02 to make.
For 2, it costs money to ship stuff from China to Japan.
For 3, it costs even more money to ship from Japan to USA.
For 4, any store that has said trailer is going to mark it up to make a profit.
So, in the end, the price is justified. If you can find a cheaper alternative, all the power to you though.

Fender is pretty much bang on with his assessment.
You could always try to find a correct scale model truck and use it's trailer, but I guarantee you, it will cost you a pretty penny to get it.

jab, jab , jab, left cross KNOCKOUT!
I always find it funny when a TF collector gets on hasbros ass because what he\she wants will only cost "$.02" to make.
What about the team of artists and engineers who work hand in hand to come up with a toy that is one part action figure and one part skill puzzle? Are they supposed to work for bananas or something? They sheer amount of design work that goes into a modern TF is huge and they still cost about the same as a spiderman figure which just stands there looking like spiderman.
OptitronPrime, be happy that Hasbro puts as much into TF as they do. We could all be collecting gobots if they didnt, and that would really...suck

What is so special about having every single Prime needing a trailer? Ok he had a trailer in G1 and G2..Some of his g2 toys didn't have a trailer and I've seen no threads wanting him with a trailer.
And all tractors usually have a 5th wheel to show detail, doesn't mean a trailer hinge would actually fit and stay in place as you vroom vroom Prime around.
Try and get those Trailer model kits in hobby shops or find just the boxed trailer off e-bay.

If you wanted to build one, I'd say get some square balsa wood lengths, figure out how long the trailer would be for it to be in scale with LP and make those balsa pieces into the framework of the trailer. Then get some Evergreen styrene sheets, whatever thickness you want to deal with, and size them to that to make the trailer panels. Find some wheels from a doner somewhere, put a peg up front for a hitch, spray paint to desired look and you have a rough trailer. I wouldn't think those ingredients would cost much, it's mostly going to be labor and figuring out the right size.
Actually, that sounds like a project I might have to make a run to Hobby Lobby to attempt.
Not that I care to have a trailer, but more so because I'm bored and curious at the same time.

i think around 40$-50$ would be a good price for hasbro to release a mp scal trailer.... if the 20th anniversary primes were 50$, then of course the trailer would be less.... 40-50$ easy, cmon hasbro, do it!

However, Classics Prime and Magnus whould have had trailers. I am still expecting it in Classics 2.0 though.
I want a trailer for Classics Prime but I don't want to have to buy him again! O, the dilemma!

I would hope they would sell the trailer seperate. About 10 bucks sounds right. Well ,most liely it will be 20, but I'd still get it, especially if it had a Classics roller in it.
