I have two questions about bubble boxes
1. For those of you who have ever ordered online, do you find that very often when you receive your deluxe figures, the bubble boxes have one crater in them that just spoils the aesthetic of your MISB condition?
2. Someone here posted long ago about using suckers to help pull out those bubbles somewhat. Anyone remember what this solution was about?
Anyone have any other solutions I'd sure be keen to hear them. I bought about 15 deluxes for $9.99 thinking I got a bargain only to find that they all have that freaking round crater in them.

Thanks I'll give it a shot.
What about receiving from online stores? Anyone have any problems with dented boxes? I'm just trying to find out if the problem is from online store to States adress or from States address to Singapore address. Will help me decide on another plan of order.

dented bubbles are tricky, but places like BBTS and TFsource are pretty good about sending undented ones if you specify that you are an MISB collector. You might have to pay an extra $2-3 bucks to upgrade to collectors grade but thats the price of being an MISB guy.
I have found that you can usually pop them out with a little pressure on either side of the bubble with your hands.

It depends on how they where mailed. I've mailed bubble boxes from Japan to the States and no problems.
Another thing to consider is where the dents and dings orginate from. They may occur in a retailer's warehouse from careless workers before they even get shipped out.

Yeah, that was me who posted that one. I just bought some small suction cups from Michael's craft store, gave one a lick and suctioned out the dent. I must note however that when you first stick it on you sometimes end up making the dent temporarily worse but eventually it will pull 90% of the dent out. Tried to find the pics I took from the old post but no luck. I also tried to search my past posts but I believe they have been deleted due to a server failure a while back.

Yup, hit the stores.
I doubt that the condition of the packages come from the shipping. All online stores I have ordered from pack and ship with perfection. More than likely the bubbles and cards were screwed up before they were even put into the shipping box.
That's just the chance you take with online orders unless you order collector's grade from places like BBTS, like mentioned above.

QFT for the most part. Upgrade to collectors on bbts only for the rare ones and the ones you think will be in high demand. Other than that, "Let us... us FREE!"

That's the irony of the situation that led to my post! I ordered a 76BB Collector's grade and normal grade. Normal grade: no problem. Collector's grade... freaking large crater. That was my last hope. So now I've all but given up and accepted my Jazz with a small dent.
