Calling Walmarts yet?
Has anyone started calling Walmarts in their area about the MP Animated Starscream? I was considering starting to call the WMs in my area to see whether they know about them and when they're planning on getting them on the shelves.

I think the release date is sometime in Nov. I am sure we'll have to fight both scalpers AND holiday shoppers...

November to December is the projected dates for release I believe.
I've been going to Walmarts checking this just to see if maybe they get them sooner. I really wish there was a UCP code or something we could use in the search. I know a member here works at walmart and posted some info but that was a month or so ago.

bwahahahahahahahaha...
have you met some of the people who work at Walmart?
maybe it's just my area, but it's been my experience at WMs that most of the employees could not care less about whether one specific toy is gonna be stocked...

please see the topic "Walmart starscream sclaped" to see a long list of whats going on. Basically we have a upc code, and no walmart, even the corporate mainoffice can find it, or knows anything about it.
One store manager even told the guy asking they had a list of exclusives for the rest of this year and next, and while there were a few transformers on the list no starscream.
Anyway the whole thread tells it in more detail.

Actually I work at Walmart, so I do know. Sure, lots of people there don't know what a Transformer is, but I do. I can also tell you that I searched around our Toy bins (today in fact) in the back and there are none right now, let alone information about what's coming.

hmm,my wallyworld here in mesa arizona restocked with all deluxes, even a few 08 bb's. with voyagers and leader class to boot.
the **** is out there, and at most walmarts in the arizona state
but as far as my rant on mp ss exclusive, read the screamer scalper thread. it's all pure shite.

My gf's store is bare too, and the store between where I work and where I live is bare. So there's 3 in my area. Target, Meijer, and TRU are all bare as well. I guess my part of Ohio is just low on the food chain.

Meijer is the worst for TF hunting in my experience. All I see are those realgear figs the helmets, legends keychains. Thse..small puzzle figures and the arm gun things.
I always hunt at Target, that and the pizza hut express rocks. =D
