They are Hasbro made. And not very appealing IMO.
edit: referring to the SW TF's and NOT Power Rangers

UHHHH ok? dude, they had a starwars series of transformers, power rangers, well sorta, cus of the zords? the transformation isn't even that hard, its like flipping this fold that, and then theres no articulation, so it's some what, but not really, I think they're different.

You do know that transforming robot toys have a history that predates Transformers?

For anyone who hasn't seen Spotlight: Sledge (and why not?!), my gritty and dark fanfiction piece "Holiday" is posted here.

actually power rangers is made from super sentai which began in 1975 and the first robot appeared in 1977. back then some had transformation qualities as well as 3 vehicles to make the robot, eventually getting boosted to 5 and now for examble, 17 for the latest power rangers series. want proof, check out http://www.supersentai.com.

Id say the Marvel Morphers or whatever they were called were true Transformers rip-offs. At least Hasbro owns the Star Wars license...
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

Yes, but there were no Transformers in Starwars when it came out.
Still, Transformers in a big Diaclone ripoff if you ask me.

Dude, everyone's making transformers this year. It's like the second golden age for transforming toys.
Just today I saw a batmobile transformer.

Everyone here knows Hasbro doesn't own Power Rangers, right? It's that crappy excuse of a company Bandai America. The real one is Bandai Japan. Japanese stuff is better. In any case, transformations are a part of almost every toy line today, so don't go making accusations in single & annoying post.

Latest Acquisition(s):
BW Tigatron
BW II Flash Lio Convoy
BW Metals Rampage
BW Neo Big Convoy
BW Neo Magmatron

I think the Star Wars stuff is stupid because:
1. It's ships that turn into pilots, not robots.
1. It has no supporting fiction, probably because it's so non-Star Wars continuity.
