Unicron

Motto: "This is your end."
Weapon: Quasar Cannon
I've got Primus and really would like to have his counterpart Unicron to display with him. If anyone could sum up his features, or give their opinions, that would be great.

he's big has a not so perfect planet mode. to display him you need a stand. you can actually buy it from bbts.com (its worth it. he looks cool comes with a minicon that moves and shoots missles from his legs and a electronic one from his chest. his eyes light up. his hand lights up. feet are a little weird and elf shoe like. haha. hands are cool and super poseable. when in planet mode holds a ton of mini-cons also has chomping "mouth" motion. not circular like the movie version but horizontal. i like him he was worth the money i paid for him. looks total badass.

Weapon: Laser Scalpel
-I like that he can flip the bird.
-cool how he can chomp you in planet mode
-the "rings" in planet mode is awesome
-doesn't require a planet key to transform!!!!
-comes with his satelite minicron!!!!!

minus in planet mode:
1) not as round as Primus (this is forgiveable, they wanted to avoid a shell TF I guess)
2) doesn't have the cool popular tourist attraction mapped on him like Primus.

btw, I think Uni looks good in either color.

Unicron counts among the best Transformers ever made, and surely the best thing to come out of Armada. He's definitely worth displaying with Primus, and they made wise choices to make his electronics cool, like his flashing eyes or hands, without adding annoying noises. He has articulated fingers and thumbs, and mine is currently pointing WST Megatron at Primus. In planet mode, he can have difficulty displaying well, but there are ways around that. Make sure he has his rings and his chestplates; otherwise, you can save some money getting him without his missiles or a few other things if you want.

Primus or Unicron?

Primus

I suggest you act fast. I cannot believe that he is still around and not sold out yet. $25 and free shipping? Go get him!

Unfortunately I don't know if Unicron is still available retail. I bought him off e-bay for USD$120. Yeah steep I know, but I wanted him for my bro's bday bad. If anyone can tell me where to get Unicron retail price I'd gladly get another one for myself.

Incidentally, there is a stand you can get to display Unicron in planet mode properly. But sadly feedback hasn't been good, so I'm looking to get a metal worker make me up one with a similar design.

Unicron has many features, none of which I ever actually use.

However, his posability is awsome and his articulated fingers are wonderful. I usually have him holding either WSTF Megatron, bootleg Kabaya Galvatron (badly repainted to look like G1 Galvy), or Mc Unicron in planet mode.

I have the Energon color scheme and I really like that one. It's really slick.

I also really like his Minicon and have teaken to collecting more of him ... I currently have six.

So, worth the buy, if you ask me. I think he's as close to a masterpeice Unicron as the standard toyline will allow.
