i think its a clear G1 sunstorm, this image is from the known TF collector tony prestos display at some TF convention, anyway, can you please tell me what it is and if it is a clear sunstorm how may i get myself one?

It looks like it is a clear Sunstorm.

If it is like the others, it is a Lunchhour Special, or whatever the phrase was, employees making limited runs of clear figures for themselves during break times... I knew about other G1's, but not Sunstorm. They would be considered extremely limited and practically impossible to find let alone afford.

And that God Fire Black Convoy is indeed tasty sweet!. oh I wish I could have one...

That table has to be probably about $10,000 or more I would guess with sealed G2 Stunitcons, and the lucky draws...not to mention the transparent G1's, etc.

I found this about a Clear sunstorm as well as some others:

Rik also showed us a bunch of clear factory samples. Apparently there are 5-10 factory samples made and kept by Hasbro/Takara as future references for toys. Rik showed us pictures of the following factory samples.

G1 Tracks, Jazz, Smokescreen, Sideswipe, Skids, Inferno, E-Hobby Hauler, Clear Hound, Clear Green and Blue Hound. Clear Prime - Clear Cab, Solid Trailer. Clear Prime Clear cab and clear trailer. Clear Starscream, Ghost Starscream, Prototype Generations, Clear sunstorm, Clear Black Starscream, Clear Astrotrain, Clear Soundwave. Clear mini bots. Buble Bee, Gears, Cosmos, etc. Clear Hotrod. You wouldn't believe how long I kept an eye out for that green Ramulus to appear on store shelves... only to realize it was one of those unproduced figures never to see the light of day aside from Hasbro samples.

Yep, clear Sunstorm is just one of those Takara samples, the sort that almost never ends up for sale anywhere. If it did, it'd get as much attention as that gold chrome G1 Hot Rod did.

What's really surprising is to see clear Armada figures, of all things. I guess nobody gave them much thought since, you know, it's Armada.

and in response to God Magnus. The only lucky draw fire convoy that i know of is the black version. Although, i have read rumor about a clear version. The closest thing i know of is the Japanese TRU God Convoy set, where the fire convoy was somewhat transluscent, but i wouldnt refer to him as clear. Although, i wouldnt be surprised if there indeed was a gold fire convoy...seems like there is a gold version of almost every other character lol
