Did the original Dirge look like this? I was under the impression it had a cone-shaped head reminiscent of Classics Ramjet.

Yup. All the G1 seekers looked like that including Ramjet and Thrust. You can pivot the nosecone up if you want to give them the Cartoon conehead appearance.

Yeah, but you have to tilt the cone part up yourself, it's not like built right into the head like the Classics version. I think the G1 version with the nosecone up looks cruddy, so all of my G1 Seekers have their regular head arrangements.

This is why I am loving the classics. The original G1 seekers had a far better alt mode imo, so now I have my classics posed in bot mode next to the alt modes of G1.

SO CAN i PLEASE HAVE THE OTHER 3 SEEKERS IN CLASSICS ALREADY!!!!??!!

I reallt don't want to try and attempt a repaint as I am not artistically inclined whatsoever. I can't even draw a freakin decent looking circle lol.

Considering that only Thrust would require some physical modifications and the other two could concievable just be repaints of Ramjet and Starscream, I can't imagine what the hold up could be. Probably the Botcon exclusive reason, so I'll have to beg someone who's going to snag me a set.

Yeah, the Conehead was a cartoon only thing to seperate the first set of jets (Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp) from the second set (Thrust, Dirge and Ramjet). All the seekers use the same basic jet mold, so that includes the head. Only the wings were different.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Dirge would require some changes as well given how the wings work with the wing engines on Ramjet. Minor modification, probably, but I could also see there being more of an issue doing Dirge in something less than a half-assed attempt than Thrust.
