Did they make a complete set of Superion Maximus for the Universe line or just a few figures?
I won one of them on Ebay and was wondering if I should hunt the others down. So far I have found only one other mold in this line.
Also, what's with the Nemesis Strika? Why does everyone want so much for this fig? This thing sat on shelves every time I saw it.

Amazingly enough, Hasbro managed to release Superion Maximus in its entirety for Universe, except for one limb: Sky Shadow. Storm Jet was exclusive to Big Lots along with the other torsos and Sharkticon, while the limbs were restricted to Dollar stores. You'll have to hunt him down in Energon packaging.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out for them I guess.
No Big lots around me so I never would have even seen that.

Either NS was hard to find everywhere else but where you live or it is now highly sought after because nobody wanted them then but do now and demand raised the price.

It was/is an ugly figure. I still don't want one. I wish I'd gotten a bunch though now. They are ridiculously priced now.
I could have paid for a vacation for what they would sell for now.

Strika stinks! I can't imagine why so many people would want to pay so much for it now. Maybe they don't know how crummy it is......
No offense intended to Strika fans, by the way.

They are? What are they going for? (can't check eBay, I'm at work...)

Hey man, by the way, I got Classics Devastator yesterday and it rocks ass. I do have the original Energon version, and it isn't my favorite combiner, but the paint on this one is what really sells it for me. I know you've been battered around a little on account of this figure.....but I think it's completely worth buying. Pick him up, you'll love him.
At any rate, we're all entitled to our opinions, but sometimes people get real nutty over what, no matter how we try to spin them into something greater, are just toys. Not like I'm trying to tell anyone what to do, but damn, if C-Devastator ain't up to snuff for you then don't buy it, don't bitch at those who do like it.

I heard that Machine Wars Prime was going to be released under the Universe banner as Menasor. Man I would've loved to have see that make it out on store shelves before Universe went tbelly up.
I will definitely be buying Classics Devastator. I can't afford the original in decent condition and I need more Decepticons for my Classics forces. Not to mention the colors actually look pretty cool to me.

Collection Count: Just enough G1 & Classics to make this look good!

Can we not have another bash the bashers of Classics Dev, please.
If you want to bash or not bash something here do it for Universe. C Dev is great/not great, who cares? I've not even seen one in stores yet. Heck they should have made C-Dev FOR Universe. I think it would have fit in better with the mold they used and I probably would have been more excited about it,not being a new mold like the rest of classics were.
All of the Universe were reissue molds with new paint. But for some reason they used characters that didn't seem to sell that well first time around, most of the time.

Universe already had 2 Devastators! The Landfill repaint, which is awesome, and the Micromaster Sixbuilder repaint, which I wish I had.

The Micromaster one was cool, and despite my dislike of Landfill, the Landfill repaint as Devastator was in fact quite awesome.

You are correct! I have the Micromaster version and forgot all about it.
