Robotic Mecha Toys

Someone showed me these links today -- they're actual robot toys with little servos an' such inside them that move their limbs around and make them do things -- and I was reminded of what someone on TFans said a while back about wanting Transformers that actually transform themselves. The things are kinda pricey and not really in any mass consumer toy market, but somehow I got the sense that these might be really cool if they could be modified into customs/scratchbuilds. Judge for yourself.

Check their movie gallery that demos range/coordination of motion.

Scope Dog version.

Oh, wow - there are actually no words to describe how cool that is. Yeah; Transformers with that kind of tech would kick so many shades of arse...
