Darn it--Devastator is growing on me...I just don't know if I can drop 100 on him in good conscience.
That Bumblebee blaster is actually pretty cool.

I'm sorry but Devastator still doesn't look two feet tall in this clip or any image that's been shown of him.
I still want him, though.

Re: Toy Fair Video Review
if look at the video closoy devastator is on the plastic thing hes kinda in a sitting position ill get him combinor mode & bot modes but i would perfer if hes was done in right way like the enrgon figures.
he could be close to 2 feet tall if his legs where to be posed staight up not in a bend down situation.
im surprised no one asks does he trasnform into bot mode hu huh ask him that question i belive it could be possible if they really tried just look how hes combined ( hes kinda scary ) make his ego bigger

Its bad when i say the GIJOE toys were cooler and more worth while than the Transformers. Wish i had more shelf room cause id get the GIJOE base and jet. Ill never get use to how they mad Devastator. It looks horrible even for a movie bot. That bumblebee thing is just stupid. But its going to be a real hit with the 5 year olds out there and i know thats what hasbro aims for 80% of the time.

I think the bumblebee arm cannon is really clever. Its the type of thing I would have gone crazy over as a kid.
$100 for something that doesnt have individual transforming parts is ludicrous. $50 might have been reasonable, but $100 is too much to ask, especially with the price of everything else going up. That's 8-9 deluxe figures...how do they figure 6 non-transforming pieces are worth it?

I don't HATE Devastator, but I have to admit, those GIJOE sets caught my eye.

Re: Toy Fair Video Review
Ohhhhhh, that's what Hasbro did. They switched the GI Joe Toy Designers around with the previous TransFormer Movie Toy Designers and came up with those cooler GI Joe toys and ending up with that $100 paper weight. Maybe Takara will add robot modes to them or something for the Japanese Release

Re: Toy Fair Video Review
the arm blaster could be so much better if the hand actually looked like a hand
Devi looks ok but I wanna see him in action to see if he's worth picking up. The GI JOE stuff looks cool but I don't collect em so I'll pass.

Re: Toy Fair Video Review
Devastator looks really cool. I'm pleasantly surprised. Here is what he is made up of with my guess on their names:
-Demolisher(large excavator) forms the body/torso.
-Scrapper? (front loader) forms the right arm.
-Hook? (crane) forms the left arm.
-Mixmaster? (cement mixer) is the head.
-Long Haul? (dump truck) forms the right leg.
-Unk* (bulldozer) forms the left leg.
*Unfortunately, they already used the Bonecrusher name in the first film as a completely different Decepticon, so we pretty much know that name will not be used for the bulldozer. It would be nice to see them stick with most of the G1 Constructicon names, though.
