How much should I be paying for... ?

Right, so I recently moved to a new city [Newport, South Wales!] and after feeling a little defeated that there was only Argos and Woolworths to search for toys [BOOOOO!], I discovered that in the market there's a guy with literally 2 boxes full of TF stuff... he seems to be a bit pricey though and most of his stuff seems to be G2 that from the looks of it has been bought from car boots and sold on at a higher price... I'm interested in Skullcruncher HM without Grax and I think he wants £10+ for it... yay or nay? He also has Kickback for about £7 but the yellow chest plate is missing.

Seems a bit expensive to me, but I'm not really one for collecting these days [currently trying to reattain my old collection from when I was a kid...], so I'm not up to date with what's reasonable for original figures. I might have a root around in his boxes for some stray Headmasters/Targetmasters later on.

Cheers for the help :)

Have a look on Ebay or ask people here to see if you can get the headmaster partner. That should help you decide, as owning a Headmaster without the head can be really annoying, and more often than not Headmaster partners are hard to find in good condition.

Personally, I paid £15.00 for a complete Skullcruncher, and I wouldn't pay any more than £20.00, so that should give you an idea of how much I value them at.

In short, I would probably leave him, as the cost of the Headmaster partner alone might push the price of the entire figure to more than what you're willing to spend. Unless, of course, you really love Headmasters or this one in particular.

As for the Insecticon, what condition is he in (apart from the missing piece)?

Well I didn't stop to REALLY look at the bottom of the boxes, so the HM could be in there but I doubt it, but there may be some others languishing at the bottom [the guy also had Chromedome, Brainstorm and Highbrow, all headless :S]. There looked to be a lot of micromasters etc. at the bottom of the box...

Kickback was in decent condition apart from missing the chestplate and I really like him so I will probably try and barter for a cheaper price of about a fiver. Cheers!

I agree with Leonardo. Cross reference eBay.
