It sure sounds like he did. I find it a little odd that Peter Cullen isn't available to provide his voice for any Optimus Prime products that talk. (G2 Optimus, Anniversary Optimus Prime w/ talking stand and possibly the voice changer).

Last I heard anything about it Cullen was under contract for the movie and Hasbro didn't want to interfere with that. So who knows what they are doing.

I have the helmet, and its definately NOT Cullen. I compaired the voice with Air Attack Optimus Primal, and its one and the same.
