Seibertron member Diem has managed to get the Animated Sons Of Cybertron set, a Takara exclusive including clear-plastic versions of Deluxe Optimus Prime and Deluxe Rodimus. He shares his thoughts with us in a video review which can be seen here or embedded below:

Oh clear plastic, why are you so attractive?

I think the Rodimus head/face looks kind of...odd. I don't think he translated well, Animated style.

Thanks!

His face is pretty unusual, and it makes him look a far more mature character than G1 or Energon Rodimus. His lack of nose and highlighted cheekbones make him look austere, but also make him look a bit like Odo from Star Trek.

Seriously mate, nice review. I don't collect Animated stuff (got to draw a line somewhere!), but am eagerly awaiting their Henkei bretheren...
