Why didnt Hasbro just make a deluxe movie prime for the set? I might but it just to keep in the box.

I thought this was already common knowledge? Anyway, I picked one up on the 2nd. Its about the worst version of each figure, but I still love the concept!

Beats the frak out of me. It would have made me seriously reconsider buying it in spite of the fact that I already have UB Optimus (which is the main reason I'm passing on this to begin with).

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

I guess the cross generational gimick works!

That's quite a range of opinion, isn't it?

Well, the Classics Prime deluxe has a pretty good robot mode, but the vehicle mode is not very convincing. At all.
I don't have the FAB version of Prime, so I've got no real opinion on it other than I guess in a Father/Son pack, the son is supposed to be too young to play with the regular figures.
I'd like these exclusives a lot more if they were offering something different that just packing already available figures into two packs. Sure, you're getting a little bit of a deal, but even the slightest of repaints would make it more rewarding and probably more profitable to the retail places selling them.
It's what made Robo-Vision Optimus such a must have: it's different than the general release (plus, it's available BEFORE that release, so double bonus!).

Thank you. That's all I wanted, some clarification.
