In the shops today I saw both Deluxe and FAB versions of Brawl.
I was quite pleased with the look of the FAB. About the only FAB I've seen that impressed me at all.
He's moulded in two colours. Green for most of the bodywork and blue for the claws and other bits and pieces.
In my opinion and as far as I can judge from the back of the packet, his vehicle mode looks better than the Deluxe version.
The robot mode of the FAB is of course a lot simpler than the Deluxe, but I think it looks quite good anyway and the prospect of a very quick and easy transformation is quite enticing.
Anyone got both versions and want to comment on their preference and the differences between them?

I have both of them and I like them both. The FAB is a more durable toy compared to the deluxe, and the simplified transformation is nice, but the robot itself is kind of blocky and not really detail-oriented. I guess if you want one to display grab the Deluxe, but if you want one to play with get the FAB. For me it's a toss up, and I can't really pick one over the other, but they are both very good.
