Headmasters
I became a teenager in the late 80's and TF's sorta got replaced with other things. I never really knew about these.
To summarize, a HM is a Triple Changer with a minicon who becomes the head in both Bot and Beast form???!I need to have them!
I did a search in the Toys d-base here and don't see them listed, just curious how many there are and where can I see some pics?

Not a triple changer.
Not a minicon.
There are all kinds of forms, cars, planes, a couple of "beasts"..
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

I see that now. I thought the beasts changed into Bots AND vehicles, but now I realize I was mixing everyone up. I've never seen Rebirth or any of the HM series. IS that NOT a Bot,the smaller guy that makes the head(Nebulon)?

Yeah, Apeface and Snapdragon aren't on there, but they're both pretty cool...lacking beast forms, though.

No the Nebulon is not a bot. Nebulon are peolpe from the planet Nebulon... Wow that's a lot lamer in retrospect. Ant as for never seeing Rebirth, you're a far luckier man than I. Still, now you can drool over Fort Max like the rest of them (I have him!) If you like Headmasters, try Targetmasters and Powermasters too. Hell, even Pretenders are pretty cool. And if you like Minicons, try Micromasters. Especially Countdown with the Saturn 5 rocket base.

TFB: Yeah, I'm really liking Apeface and Mindwipe.
Mindwipe isn't bad, if you don't mind simple transformations. At this point, I think the designers were focused on the fact that the figure had a transformable head, so other designs fell by the wayside. As for Apeface, I have him on the way right now--I've had his head for a while off an ebay lot and finally found an affordable body in good shape recently. I'll let you know how he is!

The headmasters, targetmasters and powermasters were among my favourites as a kid, I loved the smaller figures that connected to the larger ones, this love for them got a whole lot greater after watching Masteforce and some of Headmasters, but sadly all my old ones are lost to the sands of time... and thieves... Of the headmasters I had, Highbrow always stuck out as a favourite, Chromedome as pretty cool too, and I had friends with Scorpy and Fort Max... always impressive.

In the American continuities they were humanoid aliens that 'binary bonded' with various Transformers and became their heads/pilots, but in the Japanese continuities they were basically Micromaster-sized transformers who built giant bodies for themselves. So, yes and no.

The Headmasters are pretty awesome (Not that I have any, that bitch on ebay ripped me off) I think though that Fort Max is the most awesome out of all of them. I wish I had him......& I wish Ryan would put up the gallery I keep nagging about......(J/K Ryan)
I really want to get some of them, especially the Horrocon Headmasters (The Decepticon ones that tranform into animals) I like Skullcrungher the best. He just has something about him that's cool. Just go buy some, you'll see how awesome they are.

I've got Scorponok and two Brave Maximus. Mindwipe should be on the way. I had that one as a kid so I wanted one now.
