Please be warned, a mod from cybertronphils, has encountered a nasty QC issue in the Encore Devastar set. So for those who have their figs pre-ordered, unless you are an MISB collector, give your retailer/supplier the permission to inspect the set.

Mixmaster component are said to be packed without his head.

And how do I do that? There's no check box on the TF Source preorder page that says "Allow TFSource to inspect the set before shipping."

I just sent an email to TFSource, asking (A) if they can check them before they ship them and (B) what are my options (exchange? refund?) if mine arrives with a headless Mixmaster.

As soon as I get a response, I'll post the response here.

I also emailed amiami. No response yet but this is probably the reason I haven't received the bill for payment yet. gavinfuzzy already received his wherein usually around this time, amiami should have had started sending emails of confirmation of availability and payment :-?

That's not my point. My point is that ANYONE (not you specifically) who pays for a set, should get a set, not 99,99% of a set.

I personally don't care what you buy instead of it, nor is this the point of the thread.

Well that sucks. Guess I will be contacting TF Source to see what their policy is regarding known defects. I have two sets pre-ordered, one to leave sealed and another to display next to Hercules.

I will probably leave it in Devastator mode 90% of the time but would like to have the option of displaying them individually too.
