Robot Heroes
Is it just me or do the transformers robot heroes look like sd gundam. I wonder who at hasbro thought this was a great idea gee we need something cute and cuddle in the transformers universe. I just don't see what the attraction to these and sd gundam are.

Doesn't matter what inspired them or what they resemble. The fact is that the Robot Heroes line is the greatest invention since chocolate.

Opinions are nice and all but not shared by everyone. It's a good thing too because I happen to adore the little guys. So thank you Hasbro, for giving me something I didn't know I'd like so much.

I was looking at them today in a store, it was the second time I'd gone in planning to buy some and not been able to.
My friend has'em all and they are awesome, I'd love a full set on a shelf but I just can't bring myself to buy some - I don't know why that is.
Maybe it's the cuteness or the fact they don't transform buy I just can't buy them... I'm a hollow shell of a human being

Absolutely agreed. I don't understand what there is to like about these. They are the TF equivalent of driving a Hybrid 3 cylinder car. I don't care how cute it looks, my garage does snot, and never will hold anything less than a 4 L. 6 banger.
Oh and they look like crap. Their faces are all convuluted and badly executed AND they do not transform. The Takara PVC line is all the non transforming figures I need. I'm not making the same mistake I made with the titanium 3 inch figures that I bought, and never opened. They are lieing in some closet and will eventually end up on Carbomya for a buck each.

I haven't got any of these yet (to my knowledge, not yet available in the UK), but I definitely plan to get them all! They are a fantastic idea. They'll be perfect for my young son to play with while he watches all my TF DVDs

Why do people persist in moaning that "they don't transform" as if somehow those of us that like them are unaware of this? Yes, we KNOW!! I can't quite explain their appeal, but the fact they are cartoon-centric representations is nice and...
um...
well...
gosh darn it, they ARE cute!

I haven't got them yet. I want to, but only for the reason of holding on to them and giving them to one of my children. However, there is a small snag there, I don't have kids and I don't want to hang onto something in case I ever have kids.
If I ever find them for cheap, like really cheap, I may get them. Also, I know that as soon as I get them, there will be another wave and I will have go through this crap all over again.

Id say its just you, they dont look like SD Gundam but rather SD Transformers. I like them because they are small and dont take up a lot of space, can be used to decorate the office, pretty cheap, and are G1 based. They remind me of battle beasts in a sense.

SD Gundam stands for Super Deformed Gundam, for those who don't know.
I don't think Robot Heroes are exactly like them as SD Gundam are disproportionate. SD Gundam have heads bigger than their bodies, will Robot Heroes don't.

I think they're cool because it's G1 themed. Other than that I myself would probably pass on them. Just got to find the Walmart exclusive that I didn't know about.
