Anyone know if Hasbro is offically discontinuing this line as of now? I figured it was done at the end of the year, but all the big retilers, like Walmart and Target, have closed them out. I think only TRU has them now. As I understood it, they still have one more regualr wave with Hound, Grappel (inferno), Skywarp, Twinstrike, and Megatron, and one more wave of 3 Packs (Red Alert, Ultra Magnus, etc). Not to mention the fact that we saw four launchers (Warpath, Cryo Scourge, Jetfire, Twinstrike) that never hit retail. I picked up the Warpath one at the Childrens museum a few months back. That is the only place I have ever seen them. They had the Warpath and Scourge one on HTS a few months back, but they were always out of stock and have since been removed. I wonder if these will ever make their way to Marshalls/TJ Maxx, like wave 2 of the three packs? Anyone hear anything? Will Hasbro sell these thru HTS, like they did with the ruination wave of generations? They, for the most part, never hit retail either, and won't now that the IDW stuff is on the shelves.

They haven't been "closed out" at ANY of the retailers in my area.

But I do believe that Hasbro is more or less done with the line.

Really? They did mine here in IN. Target just did and replaced them with the Construction Bot things. Walmart clsed all of them out months ago. We have Meijer here too, which is like Walmart or target, and they still have the singles, but closed out the launchers, Dragon track, and 3 packs.

BTW, kind of unrelated, but anyone looking for Generations at target it is going to be slim pickings for the rest of the year. They just reset their aisles and all of the TF product is the Predacons rising stuff. Kind of a silly move, because they only have two deluxes planned and Skylynx makes up the whole "wave one" so that is all that is on the shelf. Same with the Commander class and legion class two packs. The only Genrations stuff they have now is one peg of deluxes.

Bot Shots are either gone or on clearance everywhere around here. Nothing is still in the pipe and the newest waves went straight to discount stores (Ross/TJ Maxx/etc).

I think they're done

We never even got as far as the Stunticons 5 pack in the UK. The last wave we got was the one with Super Bot AcidStorm, which I only ever saw once at one retailer (Sainsburys). All the other retailers didn't even get that far wave wise.

I'm busting for the Stunticon set, but eBay is the only place I can find them and they are silly money

But the forementioned waves have not made it to Ross or TJ Maxx/Marshalls. The four launchers, the thrid wave of three packs, and the final wave of singles. And I just went to Meijer on my lunch and they too are closing out the singles now. So, I guess that is it for the line as far as we can tell. Hopefully HTS or the discount chains will get the final figures for this line. Man, my boys loved these too. Sad to see them go. If they would have made more of a variety of figures them maybe it would have done better. My boys have every figure produced save the forementioned unreleased figures, except Warpath which I got on a fluke. When RTS was out two years back I never saw Wreck Gar at retail, but got him at the childrens museum as well. Not sure how they got the shipemtns. I also got the FOC wave 1 with Jazz and Shockwave last June there, almost two months before it hit retail. Anyhow, i laid them all out, i think 79 total, and over a third of them were either Optimus, Bumblebee, Shockwave, Ironhide, and Megatron. And those were jsut the ones with multiple repaints. I didn't include Mirage, Jetfire, Starscream, and the handful of others that had doubles. As a matter of fact the aerialbots and stunticons vastly improved this variety. I wish they would have just stuck with the original designs rather than having the three different modes. Aside from the flip shot mode, the other two were design fails, especially the spin shot bot.

Yeah, the Stunticons and Aerial Bot sets were the best ones. You can get them here in the US for about $13 at Marshalls right now. I wish the shipping charges were not insane or I could pick them up for you and ship them. I thin they might have only had the aerialbots though. I saw the Stunticons on clearance at Target, but some child was talkign his mom into buying him the last one when I was there a few weeks back.

http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/SearchResu ... 1375912418 still has the 3-packs with Kup/Cindersaur/etc. They did have the Warpath and Cryo Scourge launchers several months ago, but no longer. I also recall the Aerialbot and Fire Decepticon packs, along with that stuff, being sighted at Ross/etc., but was too lazy to go look up when/where in the news archive :oops:

Now, if you're referring to Inferno, Cindersaur, Twinstrike, Hound, Stormrazor, and SB Skywarp singles and the Combaticon 5-pack, among others, I've got no clue as to their fate. Not sure we ever even got images of them. I hope they are coming out, but I'm not optimistic. Maybe around the holidays?
