Is there an official "street date" for AOE figures?

Postby GuyIncognito » Mon Apr 28, 2014 11:54 am

I know some have been spotted already, but is there a date when stores are supposed to have the new line on shelves - a "street date"? I seem to remember reading that it was May 1 or May 5 or something like that.

Yeah, I know, I just don't feel like checking the stores every day this week. I'll probably just wait until Thursday to check.

I, on the contrary, am a loser douche with no social life, so I will be visiting area stores daily.

The UK, or my area at least, is too disappointing to even do that. Harumph. :-(

Oh, it's not like a have a social life that prevents me from checking daily; it's more about laziness. >:oP

I check my stores on a semi-weekly basis for new stock, but nothing yet. At least we've gotten rid of all the Prime RiD Deluxes, with a few Voyagers lingering. I'll have to check again after April 30th when the 1 + 1 promotion ends.

There seems to be no rationale here, at all. But I will check again this week in TRU, and after the Argos date in, well, Argos.

Weapon: Battle Blades
A Saturday is such a random street date. As a Monday - Friday desk jockey, I'm not complaining, but it's still odd.

Oh, believe you me, Hasbro UK employees are brilliant at knowing exactly what's happening. But they don't talk to each other about it, so there are multiple truths at any given time, until toys actually appear.

Quantum distribution.

I know what we need to do. Find out what cargo ship Hasbro has rented to bring all the toys from China (or wherever they're built) and hijack that b**ch.

I won't bother listing the one-step changers and flip-and-flappers and what-not, but here are the real figures in Wave 1:

Deluxe

High Octane Bumblebee
Crosshairs
Dinobot Slug
Dinobot Scorn

Voyager

Evasion Mode Optimus Prime
Grimlock

Leader (I'm not sure if these are Wave 1 or not.)

Optimus Prime
Grimlock

I'm also not sure if the TRU-exclusive Dinobot 2-packs are part of Wave 1 or not.
