Its funny how opinion sometime change...

One of my best friend claimed Transformers would be a crappy movie and that it woudl suck. He also said this whole movie was dumb an..well...lets shorten this that he found the concept silly.

Now, after watching a few trailer, he's going crazy and think it look freakin awesome. He can't wait to see Blackout in action.

What the ****?

I wanted so much to hate this movie! I guess I can be considered a "geewunner" and I'm OK with that. I saw how everything was different and how so much had changed. I also knew that I would see this as soon as was possible, because bottom line it was a Transformers movie, and more so a movie that involved giant robots who transform and blow **** up.

That being said, as I sat there watching it I was overcome with an almost palatable disgust for myself. I was enjoying the movie, nay, loving the movie. I was supposed to hate it! But no, I wasn't hating it. There were a few things that I didn't like i.e. Optimus Prime's lips and bumbling around at the parents house, the lack of real character in some of the 'bots and 'cons, but those truly pale in comparison with the rest of the movie. So yeah, my opinion changed and I think I can understand you friend's change, too.

I was so sure i would hate this movie, after seein g the images of the designs and all, but I ended up loving it, all the designs worked well adter seeing them in action, even megatron , wich was originally my biggest gripe.

I do kind of wish they had less focus on the humans and more on the transformers, but still, it was good

i still think its was a crappy movie that was done well...watching it on the big screen was cool, but after seeing it i didnt do a complete 180 on how lame i thought the movie turned out...i do have high hopes on the sequal blowing this lame ass film out fo the water...if it is done right i think it could set the bar on ultra summer blockbusters.

I know people who've never heard of TF, or deny it, anyway, and saw the movie 'cause it looked cool in the trailers. Go figure.

For me this film has brought the Transformers into a different light in the mainstream, i have plenty of friends who had no interest in Transformers before the film but now cannot contain their newfound love. I for one never thought i would have the pleasure of driving past several large billboards on the bus into Glasgow City Center and seeing Optimus Prime and Megatron in all their glory. another five or six years of Transformers mania? YES PLEASE!
