I dont' recall seeing that, but that doesn't mean it wasn't said. 5 TF movies would rule (assuming they were all descent...)

IMDb.com- The Internet Movie Database Blu Room indicates that the third movie in the Transformers live-action franchise will be arriving a mere 2 years after the second, June, 29th, 2011.
This information comes from German release schedules which were leaked to several other sites including Aceshowbiz.com, and The Transformers Live Action Movie Blog

I wish they'd give us more of a break between movies... the first one was cool and all, but I was so tired of seeing it everywhere afterwards.

Possibly because they have no idea how the 2nd one will do, and the state of mind of all of the pieces involved to plan that far in advance?
It's not that it is so unbelievable, it's just odd timing since we haven't even gotten a trailer for the second yet.
