I was hoping this time they wouldn't make SP such a jerk (dammit, Animated!), and if he betrays the Autobots, then I consider him a jerk, all over again :-(

WTF...I cant believe it..Sentinel is a traitor towards the autobots..latest I heard he took out Ironhide & the twins permanently..If that is true of what happens in the upcoming movie I'm sure as hell pissed off with M.B.

The bot is a legend..give him credit where it's due..how many times in transformers multiverse have we seen Ironhide took the bullet..at least in the movie do him some credit...Well anyway the movie is made & done with there's nothing much to say but I hope M.B makes Ironhide "return to the Matrix" exit an epic one coz if doesnt...he's sure to make alot of Ironhide'rs unhappy..he wouldnt want to make the same mistake as he did with TF Jazz :evil:

Sentinel: Dude, no. *Bang*
Ironhide: I'm dead.

Ironhide's death is for shock value of Sentinel's sudden loyalty switch. It's epic in the way that it's surprising, not that Ironhide goes down fighting.

Well at least M.B should take note that Ironhide is a tough son of a canon who dont go down easy...M.B should make the scene where at least Ironhide gets to fire shots that made S.P quivers in his nuts bolt sack (I assumed all the TF have lots of them) & quoting "damn he's sure can give a good kicking while he's still ticking"..rather than getting shot at & dying later..it's so reminiscence of G1 movie

The best way to establish a villian as a threat is to do something utterly brutal without a second thought. Darth Vader choked a guy with one hand while holding him two feet off the ground then broke his neck and tossed the corpse aside, but the Emperor caused some pretty fireworks then was tossed off the edge of a railing like a punk after doing all of nothing the whole movie.

Contrast Megatron and The Fallen. Megatron killed Jazz without breaking a sweat in one film, then Optimus Prime in another after a knock down drag out fight. The Fallen meanwhile plotted some, pulled some telekinetic mojo then got his spark torn out by Optimus.

What I'm saying is Darth Vader and Megatron showed themselves as imposing, tough, and downright evil. The Fallen and The Emperor meanwhile came off as unimpressive and weak despite their position as the main villians. Sentinel blasting Ironhide without a second thought establishes that as a villian he doesn't mess around and is also very powerful (Ironhide is one of the strongest Autobots after all).
