I tend toward the Dinobots, especially if Swoop can keep out of reach and bomb them from above... even though plasmawave's avatar is hypnotizing me right now.

well, in the comics shockwave can manhandle the dinobots, and megatron is equally as powerful, or more powerful, and prime can defeat megatron in nearly every occasion they meet. im going with primes team.
all tactics aside, the dinobots all deal in raw power, and i think primes team can use speed or skill to survive until prime has beaten grimlock, and then with him joining the battle the dinobots will all fall fairly quickly.
if your looking at the cartoon versions however i think it would be much closer. but in war of the dinobots i think it was, it took grimlock sludge and slag to beat prime, and he was holding back not knowing why they were attacking him.
as long as the other dinobots are at least distracted, prime should take care of grimlock and join the battle to win it for his team. grimlock freely admitted to the rest of the dinobots tht prime was more powerful than he was, and that he was jealous of primes strength.
the only casualties will be ratchet, simply because he doesnt have alot of speed, and he isnt skilled enough to survive against a dinobot for too long. and maybe ironhide, whos durable, but very slow. he can take a beating, but maybe not as much as a dinobot can dish out. other than that bumblebee is small and relatively fast, jazz is fast and probably the most skilled autobot there is other than prime himself. so either way imgoing for primes team, only in the cartoons it would be alot closer than in the comics.

I would say the Autobots if you had two others added to them. Nothing against the ones backing Prime, but the Dinobots are not a group where you want to be one-on-one with. Those four Autobots could only take on three, at the most, of the Dinobots leaving Prime to the mercy of Grimlock and another member.
If you added Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, though, and Prime had the chance to go solo vs. Grimlock, then the Autobots could pull it off.

Grimlock obeys Prime for a reason. Ironhide and Jazz could probably hold their own and win against anyone who isn't Grimlock. Rachet and Bumblebee would last long enough for Prime to beat Grimlock and help those two out.
Dinobots loose.

I can see the Autobots take this, but better swap Ratchet and Bumblebee for Prowl and Wheeljack.

Starts making PB&J sandwich for plasmawave

Jazz, Prowl, Sideswipe, and Sunstreak would keep the dinocorps busy long enough fo Prime and Grimmy to finish there fight.

Prime should have the shutdown codes. That would be the easiest way to win. If he doesn't then it's the way of pain! (Thanks Saruman.)
Bumblebee can lead the Dinobots on a merry chase but he can't stop them.
Ironhide can use liquid nitrogen to freeze some Dinobot joints.
Jazz can bamboozle the Dinobots for a minute or two with his sound-and-light show.
Ratchet would know the Dinobots weak spots and pressure points but could anyone get close enough to use this knowledge?
Prime could defeat the Dinobots individually but not as a group.
Sludge crushes enemies underfoot but the Autobots are too fast for him.
Slag burns, rams and impales. He's fast enough to catch some Autobots.
Swoop attacks from the air. The Autobots should try to shoot him down. If he comes down to bite the Autobots, they might knock him to the ground with thrown objects.
Grimlock would happily bite through all the Autobots if he had the right motivation.
The true star is Snarl, who gains 900% strength with a full charge of solar power. However, he is still fairly slow and stupid.
To sum up, I'd bet on the Dinobots if they were on good form and had valid reasons for fighting Autobots. It's possible that Prime could win the day with plenty of help from his four comrades. Their best chance lies in guerilla tactics and also in persuading the Dinobots that they should return to being allies.
