In a spelling contest I highly doubt it.
Oh and they might also get squished so ... no. Megatron wins by squishage.

A bunch of high school kids vs. a giant robot. Hmmmmm well to be honest even without Megatron's Fusion Cannon (which is powered by drawing energy from Black Holes, and can shatter mountains) he can just step on them, or like the poor mercenary from Dreamwave's Transformers Vol. 1, crush them with his bare hands.
Also this really should be in Fantasy Battles or at the very least Transformers General Discussion shouldn't it?

Actually i'm making fun of the American education system in general.
And having attitude won't stop you from getting squished on.

Yes, a giant robot, whose brain is a super super computer, would have trouble with any homework that is given.
High schoolers are retarded. Attitude < Fusion Cannon
In no way, shape or form, could any high schooler, or any group of high schoolers, without the help of giant robots of their own, could beat Megatron.

This sounds like something they'd show on Nickelodeon.

You forget, in America, our Teenagers are better armed than Megatron.
As a high school teacher I find that both funny and scary at the same time.

Um first I gotta say I feel dumber having read this topic.
Is there really any question as to whether or not the High School Population of America could defeat Megs?
For every 100 completely moronic wastes of space who don't know how to spell properly or wear a belt there is at least one High Schooler who has read the anarchists cook book and can build bombs or something to that extent. There are enough skilled individuals that after the unskilled individuals end up squished Megs would easily be finished off eventually.

Well, if Megatron wasn't allowed to refuel multiple times during the fight, he'd probably run out of juice. Really, it would take a long time, and a fair bit of energy, to step on a few hundred thousand people. Not an efficient method of extermination. And his cannon sucked a lot of juice.
Another way to look at it:
You with a shotgun (limited ammo) versus 300,000 Rats. Now, lets give you the benefit of kevlar armor (Megatron isn't flesh afterall) but them the benefit of scale semiautomatic weapons, bombs, highpowered rifles, stolen military weapons, and cheap, expendable, but remarkably heavy automobiles. Eventually the rats will overwhelm you.
Incidentally, it just ocurred to me that it would be much more sensible to have this in the Fantasy Battles Forum, though I'll leave a shadow topic here so you guys don't lose it.

well, maybe if the used the zap brannigan method like when he fought the killbots theyd have a chance (depending on how many there are) if they just sent waves and waves of them in to be killed megatron could eventually run out of power. even then without some serious weaponry they couldnt do a whole lot of damage to his helpless body.
of course this argument rendered pointless if one of the school kids has a can of spray paint...

assumming there are two able to mix explosives/ napalm, one capable of making an emp pulse and three taggers per highschool, you got more teenage dudes with attitudes than movie megs could deal with. And in the magnet/gifted schools there's probably a few who can upload windows 2000 on the poor slagmaker of Tarn.unique_username wrote:well, maybe if the used the zap brannigan method like when he fought the killbots theyd have a chance (depending on how many there are) if they just sent waves and waves of them in to be killed megatron could eventually run out of power. even then without some serious weaponry they couldnt do a whole lot of damage to his helpless body.
