how is prowl 2nd in command? i never saw him do anything. anyway, wolverine ftw!

Doesn't mean he wasn't. Prowl was in fact second in command in G1.
Prowl vaporizes Wolvy into an adamantium skeleton.

Prowl is intelligent enough to analyse Wolvie's genome and find a way to destroy his healing factor. Wolvie would die of sudden old age and multiple diseases without a fight.
