The tech specs have them quite evenly matched. Dead End and Sunstreaker are both vain. Sideswipe and Wildrider are both reckless and rush into action. If Sideswipe attacks from the air, Dead End can knock him back down to earth with his compressed air gun. Sideswipe has less firepower but makes up for it with piledriver arms. In the comics, the Autobots have a lot more battlefield experience. However, this might lead them to underestimate the Decepticons, who are rapidly gaining experience.

To be honest, this is too close to call. The outcome would depend on diverse factors such as motivation, fuel levels and luck.
