Some more red, some yellow, silver and an Autobot emblem, and that arm is done!

Battle damage added! All that's left for that arm is the yellow detail between the wrist and elbow, and that Autobot emblem!:

Aaron digging the 4.5 foot hole:

9 people and 1 tractor later, Prime is up!

Brad removing branches as we had to drag Prime thru a tree to get him standing:

Night approaches. The eyes will be lit!

Nope never thought of that as I am planning to have a lifesize projection of Megatron on the other side of Prime, so they are almost facing eachother. The trick-or-treaters will walk between them while a custom audio track plays where Prime tries to protect their candy from Megatron.
Prime is heavy enough as it takes 9 people just to move his upper body around, so speakers in his head just would have been more weight to worry about. But I might do something like that for the Bumblebee and Ironhide costumes!

At this point, I think I should mention that

has tons more pics than what I have been posting here. Right now there are about 175. I just didn't want to kill a thread by flooding it with graphics. Please look and continue discussion here!

I just have to say this... WOW!
this is superb craftsmanship, to be able to build Optimus friggin' Prime in your backyard. do you plan on anymore 22 ft bots?I know the feeling, spend a couple weeks on some Rodimus fanart with him against Starscream, and not a peep.
Those who act like they know everything annoy those of us that do.

Hi. Thanks! I am a little surprised to tell the truth.
No more big bots for me! I still have to make Bumblebee and Ironhide costumes, G1 of course. I'm thinking cardboard, pop-rivets and Gorilla Tape should do the trick. No glue means nothing to peel apart.

awesome work brad
really pleased to see it turn out just right, and kudos for all the hard work you,ve put in.
with regard to comments, you have to be a little patient mate,i cant speak for everyone, but i dont always get to go on the boards everyday, having a child with disabilaties means my time is limited, and it just means i cant reply or comment.
