DOTM Air Raid, meet my Classics shelf! =P~

Well, yet more crap I don't need to buy added to the DOTM line. I will say, though, that Air Raid looks to me like what Megatron would look like if he were a jet. The color scheme, the giant canon thing, and the head all just give me Megatron vibes.

Man, I'm really digging that DOTM Air Raid. It's screaming WfC Air Raid for me, the color scheme's pretty spot on! I dunno what you guys are talking about, Air Raid's definitely Classics/Universe-line worthy imo.

Air Raid is what movie Starscream SHOULD have looked like in the first place IMHO. They could have still made him an F-22 with that same type of transformation. Instead we got monkey arms and the legs of the mythical Fawn. I really like the Air Raid figure.

I don't know where you see a new head (i have chromia and they are the same) but minimal paint apps and a generic weapon that every other deluxe figure has its basically a re release of the same thing, it looks the same as chromia only with a mechtech weapon

yeah i didnt want the ROTF sisters and I certainly don't want the DotM Arcee. Air Raid though...YES YES YES. I liked the thrust/breakaway models, but not the paintjobs. this guy looks sweet.

The motorcycle "twins" are so ugly... Why can't they have two legs? Air Raid looks really good though! I got Thrust from ROTF and I really like it, so I'll definately have to pick this up too.

Astounding! One of the figures I consider to be in the Top 5 Deluxe figures of the DotM line so is a figure I thought was crap in its previous 2(?) incarnations.

I won't say that Air Raid is totally worthy of inclusion in the Generations line but it is a pretty good tribute.
Arcee, however, is about to go down the same road as the umpteen-freaking-million Bumblebee variations. They screwed the trio up the first go around and rather than trying to make up for it, they are compounding it.
Oh well, I'm not buying it anyways so I can't really complain much.

Oooh, another Breakaway repaint! I love that mold, though I only have one version (Thrust). This one looks interesting. It kind of reminds me of G2 Starscream. The Mechtech weapon looks cool, too.

This stuff is pissing me off we get the short end of the stick on figures like Warpath but these molds get done to death?

I'm really beginning to rethink what I collect.

I mean this is the 4th version of this mold we've seen and while I have no issue with re-using molds and renaming them, I just get annoyed when molds like this get so much milage and yet we'll likely never see RTS Wheeljack in a future wave.

I'm down with Air Raid. I may even work those fixes on him. But it would take a hell of a weak moment to get ANOTHER bike girl, fancy badass weapon or not. At least with Air Raid, his mold was already pretty good without the changes. Arcee's design needs the changes to look decent.

I too love this jet mold. My favorite jet mold from TF in the last few years (exception for Generations/Classics Seekers). The more the merrier! But a new head mold would be nice.

That's incorrect. Both of you. First off, Blurrz, there is not a new head. There is a slightly different paint app on it but there is no actual "new" head, as far as modling is concerned.

She is not the same but with a MT weapon. She has a red Autobot Symbol this time, and no Cybertronion scribbles. As I said, there is a new paint app on her head, there is more of a lighter blue, and with a Mech Tech Weapon. So yeah you both are partially right. She is not worthy for purchase.

Anyway, I think this is an awesome Arcee. It's an homage to TF:Prime Arcee. That's all it needed to be cool for me. You guys have no idea how to have fun anymore. This mold is fun, even if it's *different*, and all you haters are missing out.[/soapbox]
