I don't know where you see a new head (i have chromia and they are the same) but minimal paint apps and a generic weapon that every other deluxe figure has its basically a re release of the same thing, it looks the same as chromia only with a mechtech weapon

That's incorrect. Both of you. First off, Blurrz, there is not a new head. There is a slightly different paint app on it but there is no actual "new" head, as far as modling is concerned.

She is not the same but with a MT weapon. She has a red Autobot Symbol this time, and no Cybertronion scribbles. As I said, there is a new paint app on her head, there is more of a lighter blue, and with a Mech Tech Weapon. So yeah you both are partially right. She is not worthy for purchase.

Anywho, Hasbro needs to get more creative. I seriously believe their running out of ideas. They could've at least made Arcee a different mold, in head, arm, something, not just copy off of Chromia. But you know what, it makes sense. Chromia is the only one who survived "Bonecrusher's" blast. Elita-1 and Arcee got pwned. Arcee, according to Hasbro's Vector Sigma data tracks, is a single mind that controls three bodies. Her body could've went into Chromia. Although not in DOTM, Arcee could do this in a toy continuity. Still not buying it. ROTF Chromia's enough, and I believe this will be a shelfwarmer...

Well I have nothing more to say on this topic. Air Raid is the one to get if you want to have Silverbolt and Air Raid. Hopefully they'll make Skydive (another repaint of Breakaway), Fireflight (a repaint of Dreadwing. Ooh one-eyed Aerialbot), and Slingshot (Mmm, ENTIRELY DIFFERNET MOLD). Make the Aerialbots come alive, hasbro. Make them come alive

That actually sounds less fun than you think. Me and some friends love having you on these boards. Its like watching a slow motion car wreck when you post. Mainly because you remind me of the kid stepping on the skateboard.

Sorry, I tried to think of a nicer way to say it, but that's what it boils down to. You need to start taking the time to learn stuff from others instead of justifying your own opinion.

Now, I think I like the Air Raid recolor the best. I'll probably buy him. I already have the Chromia mold in colors really close to that so I may pass it up unless it tells us how to combine the bikes together.

In an effort to get this back on track, I have to say that Air Raid has got me interested in collecting movie figures. I've passed on them so far but my wife loves the voyager class Human Alliance figures. I'm thinking of grabbing a few movieverse figures like Swerve and Thrust.

I'll pick them both up. I actually like the Arcee better than the Air Raid figure. I quite enjoy the Chromia mold and I like the shade of blue used this time. The figure itself reminds me a lot of Breacher. Air Raid isn't bad either and I'm always down for flying autobots .

like that Air Raid more and more everytime I see him.defo headed for my Classics/Universe shelf.

im always weary about plane bots and their undersides. However after checking the ROTF Thrust gallery...even the underside looks decent. Definitely buying this. Hope its a single and not in a two-pack like thrust was.

So we do we have any real confirmation these aren't just the TakaraTomy versions?

The mold is severely underrated. It's on the same level as Stockade and Mr. Emo(Dropkick).. phenomenal articulation, solid vehicle mode, just not a 'Movie' character, a bit too much kibble, and the downfall of this mold, the ridiculously small noggin.

i thought some movie bumble bees also had full color symbols...it may only be one model or two though. But i will be pissed if we don't get air raid

That Thrust mold... I want it, but it seems fated I can't/won't get it. The first one never appeared in stores here, the second one was packed with that dreadful BB, and the third one is evidently Takara-only.

Wonder why they stick with the Thrust head, and not re-use Breakaway's?

I have Thrust. Dont have Breakaway so I can't compare

But Thrust's head has more of a mouthplate than a mask. I guess they want a mouth on Air Raid? LOL I can imagine him:
