I have every single one of those, and some more Primes:
2 Transformers Cybertron Optimus Primes
1 G1 Reissue Optimus Prime
1 Optimus Prime head from ROTF DVD Purchase at Best Buy
1 Galaxy Force Optimus Prime
1 DOTM Voyager Prime
And other Prime Figures.
It is not an extreme collection of Primes. Neither is yours.
And you don't need to rub it in, in fact, some people are happy with voyager prime.

its inferior versions of previously made (and well done) toys and characters.
CP has once again nailed every point.
Sideswipe is a case and point on this. The ROTF is leaps and bounds better then the current DOTM version.

I'm sure a LOT of people will be doing custom paint jobs this time around. Look at Voyager Optimus Prime. There should be blue on the lower arms. They also neglected to paint grey on the blue part of the upper legs. Then there's the lack of flames on the wheel covering things on the front of the truck.

What? How does it require a horizontal surface? And it doen't take quite that long.

Re: Who hates MechTech and/or the DotM toys?
I only have LC SP and voyager Ironhide so far.
Basing my experience solely off those figures so far, I'm not astounded or anything. I'm let down that we waited for these figures.
Sentinel is kind of a let down because his panels are so aggravating and always seem to be in the way of something. I was hoping for him to be the follow up to ROTF Prime, who is the best transformer I feel I have ever purchased (in Buster form at least). But he is not. He's okay, okay like Movie 1 leader Brawl. Both modes look good, but you really don't want to go back and forth very much because it's annoying and a hassle. And while I thought the sword and shield would be awesome, in reality they don't impress. The sword keeps falling apart, the shield stores awkwardly under him. I wish he had a gun instead. And to have to get another figure just so I can activate his alternate voice phrases kind of irks me as well. Maybe some of us think a giant lump of plastic on his shoulder ruins his appeal.
And Ironhide, wow.. I got him because I really hated my movie 1 IH's legs with the automorph gimmick ruining his pose-ability. Unfortunately I've had him out of the package for less than 24 hours and I feel like he's a waste. One arm has already broken off, some little press in screw won't hold and keeps falling out if you so much as touch it. His mechtech weapon locks only with a prayer. And he has a really funny side profile. Like a stick figure. The poor boy suffers from diminished gluteal syndrome! His back side is just too flat and empty. It's like he needs some backpack components to beef up his torso profile and fill him out. Also, his mechtech ports are strangely out of place on his vehicle mode. The car deluxes have shutters that close off the ports when not in use. Why not Ironhide??? All in all, I like my HFTD deluxe more.
Both need more paint.
No, I wasn't super excited from the preview pics we all had seen. But I thought they would be better and grow on me once in hand. Apparently I was wrong.

Give me one gimmick that isn't as ridculously addictive and fun as Mechtech? It doesn't exist.

*Minicons
*Energon series powelinking
And the greatest TF gimmick is the simple fact that they can transform.
I like mechtech alright even though I do have some nitpicks with it. I just don't think it should have been the primary focus of the line. Automorph and mech alive actually focused on the bot, but mechtech focuses on the weapon at the cost of the robot.
That's why I think mechtech would have served better being sold separately from the figures. It also would have opened up the opportunity to really arm your TFs to the teeth.

Re: Who hates MechTech and/or the DotM toys?
There are some lot numbers without clipped fingers. Even in the US(I know since I live in Dirty Jersey.). 10901 is one of them, supposebly. However I can confirm myself that 03651 is indeed one with unclipped fingers as my Crankcase with unclipped fingers is of that number. 10601 however is usually almost always clipped.
