I broke down and Bought Ultimate Optimus, mainly because I wanted to use the trailer to make a custom one. But after having him out and swooshing him around, I kinda liked it.
I do however not like the butterfly look to him, and it doesn't make much sense.

So I tried to imagine a way for his Alt. mode to make sense...



I present:


Glide Wing Prime!





It looks a little more natural then the Mecha suit that has no leg articulation.

what do you guys think?
It might actually save the mold, which is actually a great display piece, and the Mechtech is addictingly fun!

That's actually a pretty good idea. Mine is displayed in truck mode, even though the trailer being oversized bothers me a bit. I am thinking about replacing the wheels on the trailer with larger ones so it would fit with leader Class Prime. But that gliding pose is neat.

I was building the trailer for the Leader class, had a set of new wheels with rubber tires to go on but the trailer is too short for the leader class sadly. and without moving the trailer peg, it sits too far back from Prime.

You can have the wings any way you want. It's pretty much made to do that. I can't believe people haven't figured this out.

When I get around to getting this one I'll probably leave the wings the way that they're displayed in the packageing.

Knowing my luck though, as soon as I buy this Jetwing Prime will be announced for a US release.

How about painting something on the wings? That'd be cool! You should totally put this in the kitbash section, too!
