After the autobots return Sideswipe tells Ratchet to cover high and when Sideswipe, Bumblebee, Dino and Ratchet are going to attack the decepticons protecting the pillars, Sideswipe shouts: autobots attack! Which could lead to Sideswipe is now second in command since Ironhides death, and fx in the DOTM game chapter 3, Sideswipe after been rescued by Dino and Bumblebee then acts like an senior by telling them to go ahead without him. So i'm curious to know what you guys really think?

I never really noticed any of that. I always thought that after Ironhide, it should have been ratchet who became 2nd. Even though he really wasn't a fighter. Aside from Ratchet, I guess it was Sideswipe's turn.

I vote for other: reboot the franchise so it takes place in 1984 and Sideswipe is a red Lamborghini Diablo and Starscream is an F-15 and all is right with the universe.

I also thought that it would be Ratchet because of his wise manner and height. Then i realized Jazz was 2nd before Ironhide, he was smaller and a bit cheeky but that doesn't matter, what matters is you have the skills to lead and Sideswipe has the leaderskills to it.

I'm not saying Ratchet couldn't be 2nd in command, but since he's pretty much the medic in the group, shouldn't he be more of in cover? Maybe like TF Prime where Ratchet is mostly at the base?
