It is impressive. When I first saw the (tiny) Argos picture I thought they;d cut bits out. There do seem to be a lot of joints in the lower leg.

It would be so much nicer if Hasbro were revealing the alt mode at the same time.

I had a dream last night that I picked him & rachet up from my loca TRU. Pathetic, I know. Needless to say I was actually upset that I didn't have them when I awoke. I eventually figured it was a dream because:

A - It's not out yet

B - It was packaged upside down in car mode and looked like a quadriplegic.

Either way, I'm diggin this but let's be honest with ourselves. Looking at that picture it reminds me a lot of the first time they showed us Universe Cyclonus for the first time. Everyone loved how it looked. Then we got the production shot and everybody hated the colors. I don't think this guy will be much different. It seems pretty photoshoped to me but then again, that's the idea. Hasbro want's it looking fresh to death for catalog photos so it looks appealing to retailers and appealing to kids/grown adults who collect toys.

You know if you look at his head, and the way it's positioned, he looks like a grumpy old man with a stick yelling at children to get off his lawn.

Also, damn, those legs look complicated.

I may start collecting this line after all.

I was honestly thinking of spending an absurd amount of money on the Takara First Edition Vehicon, but if this thing is as good as it looks, it seems this is going to be a good alternative. I'm quite impressed with it.

thats alot better than the first edition one, ill add this one to the "might buy" list cause id like to see actual pictures before i fully decide.

It occurs to me that with the new "Robots in Disguise" tagline, it may be difficult to distinguish Prime from RiD.

I don't like thte size, paint apps or especially the gun arm, but I need at least one of these guys and I can't afford a FE at this rate. RiD it's going to have to be. :/ At least he doesn't look as bad as some of the others in his class.

I'll be buying it. But what I'm not buying is how kibble-free it looks. That can't be right. There must be a backpack they left somewhere.

I did notice that there seems to be a backpack that sorta seems to stretch outwards (pretty horizontally from the camera angle) that might jut out a bit much. But if the sides of the shoulder pads hide that a bit (kinda like energon downshifts hude shoulders might), it could be forgiveable.
