So I was on YouTube to look at the video review for AM Prime when I saw this and a series of others off to the side and I thought to myself...okay some TF marketing through J-pop music group. It's entertaining to say the least but I wonder if this is a sign of things to come for future TF lines. What do you fans think of all this?
Oh and for some of you fans try and keep your hormones on ice!
Oh I think I know what this is, this is a segment of the Japanese version of Prime, along with the targetmaster shorts, apparently they are pop icons in Japan and in these segments serve to educate you on TF history.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

It might be more believable if the girls were more masculine on the gender spectrum. But cross-dressing isn't exactly widely accepted yet on Earth, sadly.

I suspect they're marketing to 15 year old (and younger) Japanese boys .
It's just like our beer commercials here in the US. They always show pretty girls, but they are not marketing the beer to women .

These segments feature the idol girls interacting with Vector Sigma in order to relay important facts about the Transformers franchise to the audience. Wow, d'okay, i'll bite. I can understand the Idol girls, i've seen way to much F$cking Japanese TV, but why blue and black maid outfits? Yes the arms microns were really goddamn creppy, it was almost had a really kinda molesty vibe to it....

Why do people keep calling the Arms Microns creepy? Did you guys only watch the first video? They're mostly just chilling on the couch in the rest of the clips.

I think what's creeping people out is the high voices and at the first one the kinda bursting thing, kinda gives a creepy and depraved sexual vibe/innuendo, or at least that's what I get. But it's just as you said people are only watching the first one

Only B2 and Arc have high pitched voices, and that's because B2's the youngster and Arc's the little girl.
And, is their straining to transform any more disturbing than G1 Starscream's groans and screams as he tried to transform after being hit by the Transfixatron in "The Autobot Run"? Or the Maximals doing the samething when they couldn't transform at the beginning of Beast Machines?
Or, if you really wanna talk disturbing, listen to the start of this:
But, I kid, I kid.

Now I don't find it creepy in particular it's more of startling at first, in the since of "herp de derp I didn't expect that", As for the the straining sounds if you take it out of context like some people do it sounds a bit off. However Why has no else brought up the girls were in blue and black maid(ish) outfits?
