All the elements are there. They really could have done something a little closer to a recognizable Megatron.

He looks less scary and more old in this version. Don't know why but thats the vibe I get from it.

Yeah he looks kinda wise-maybe that is a good thing, megs often comes accross like a mindless psycho-and in order for him to have lead such a devestating uprising he'd have to have some brains.
