I didn't watch many episodes growing up, but there was one where the renegades all broke out of jail and they all ran to the weapons locked to insert their weapons disks. This guy was part of that group and I was all like "you could've used that gun any time you wanted to!"

As a kid, I liked Gobots because of their vast variety all at the same price. That was what made them so awesome. But from the little bit I remember, the cartoon was horrible. By the time Transformers G1 season 2 kicked in, Gobots had already lost the battle in toy store sales.

Wasnt "Gobotron" a cheap knock off of the Death Star being rebuilt ?
