Don't worry, he has his harpoon, it's an integrated weapon in his arm; I'll be doing a render with that out tomorrow evening!

Now, unfortunately, due to the recolor [and me wanting to see what others think], plus other circumstances, I can't do a render of him with the harpoon out tonight. Definitely tomorrow.

Lots to show-off today!

First off, we've got two shots of Impactor with his harpoon out. Now this Harpoon is neat because it'll function like a grappling hook/grapnel. He'll be able to shoot it into walls, objects, or even other Cybertronians, and retract it, either toward the object, or pulling the object toward him.

I'd also like to remind everyone that Shockwave is the next model in development!

I'd like to announce Steven Carr (aka Carrvoice) will be voicing the character of Megazarak, and the first animation test (featuring Megazarak) should be finished and rendered by Sunday; maybe Tuesday at latest.

And lastly, a size comparison picture:

Also gonna be talking to someone today about being a sound designer for the series, so looks like from that perspective, the team is expanding!

And a surprise new character!

Meet the first "Adept" revealed from the Vanguard Series, the insane Herald Of Unicron...Galvatron!

Remold of Megazarak; Galvatron is an extremely powerful, very intelligent, and moderately [in his own words] insane leader of the Cybertronian cultist group "The Heralds Of Unicron". As a Cybertronian "Adept" he has lightning powers including the ability to shoot out bolts of lightning and create lightning orbs.

In the next day or two, I'll release an image of him wielding his lightning powers. Also coming this week is Megazarak's animation test. The voice acting is already in for it, and the actual animation should be finished tomorrow.

Coming a little later this week will be the Vanguard Youtube Channel, auditions for voice roles in the series; and beginning of development on Shockwave!

The orbs and greenish-blueish-white lightning coming from them are real model and effect rendered in program. The background and background lightning was image composited in.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've been trying to do my best to create (at the very least) cool designs that people will hopefully like seeing in the series. Every person that does like at least a few of them makes everything even better!

Got another new one! Meet the first released Autobot rookie, Hot Shot!

Remold of Roadbuster, Hot Shot features two double-barreled blasters & a flight pack complete with thrusters and wings! [I tried to get some of the wing in the shot on in the 2nd image] He's got a visor as well, as you can see. The visor maps out flight paths when he's flying.

I've got an animation test for Megazarak coming soon; and Slugslinger & Sideswipe coming up as characters [though development on the first prequel episode will slow down their release.]

Alright, here it is...a few things I want to say first:

#1: This is the first of three animation tests planned for Megazarak, each focusing on a different type of thing. I may do other tests between now and the first episode; but these three are "for sure".

#2: Youtube swung a hard punch at the video's quality and knocked a tooth or two out. With future tests, I'll experiment with file types to find the one to get the best quality out.

#3: This is the rough first animation test done with a Vanguard Series model. The animation in future tests will continue to smooth and improve as I get used to the models; and the Prequel Series will be much smoother overall.

As soon as I am able, I'll revisit Megazarak [or another character] and do a second running animation that is a bit better, cleaner, and hopefully a bit more solid overall.

Well, that all being said...here it is!

To celebrate the release of the Phase 1 Auditions later today, I made this new poster/wallpaper with all of the characters made to date!

Fun-Fact: All of those characters were rendered together [not composited together] and all have zero clipping, with each other or with themselves.

So yeah, I'll have auditions up later today on TFW2005.com; Seibertron.com, deviantArt, Voice Acting Alliance, and Voice Acting Club.

There will be 12 Characters up for audition; some of which will be new character announcements. 4 will be scheduled for 5 Weeks of auditions; 4 will be scheduled for 15 Weeks of auditions; and 4 will be scheduled as "Open" meaning that there is no deadline currently and they will get cast if the absolute "100%" perfect voice comes along.

6 Additional Characters are pre-casted; from the original Vanguard auditions about 1.5 years ago before I delayed the project to make it more solid, because I'm that committed to this being good. One character is voiced by a member of the writing team; but he got that part a long time ago before he was on it; and the other 5 were cast before I knew any of them. So don't worry, these parts are going to decent fan voice actors; not to "my friends".

You can also audition to be a Decepticon Trooper as well though, which multiple people can and will get cast as. But those are obviously small roles.

More details will go up with the auditions themselves later.

I just subbed to the channel for TFVANGAURD and I sit patiently waiting for the first episode of vanguard maybe it will air sometime after I start college on the 15 of this month of August 2014 and I am not sue if you would put a character I created in full concept in since what he naturally is is something that sounds like something from a fan fiction though he is a grade a “prime" cut boss he is not only a shape shifter, time traveler and dimension hopper he is a 23 year old half human who goes by the name tap out
