Well, can't totally rag on the MTV spidey toon. Mainframe did it, guess they were trying something new, which is why it didn't turn out well.
The biggest mistake being that it was made for the MTV crowd. Or being put on MTV period.
Good point.
And making Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser) Spidey.

He didn't do a bad job, imo.

He was too monotone for me. Not enough of a smart ass. But he did do a decent job. Just not the best candidate is all.

Nice. Looks like "Ultimate Spider-Man."
I think they should get the guy who did Spidey's voice in the Ultimate Spider-Man game. That guy kicked ass.

The 90's Spider-Man toon sucked, IMO.

I was okay, but it certainly wasn't the pinnacle of comic cartoons at the time.
That honor goes to Bruce Timm's Batman.

The art looks great, and I'm glad they're going the USM high school route. I just hope the animation is better than the 90's toon chopfest.

90's comic cartoons are just too good.

NOOO!!! First TF and now my beloved Spiderman...again. I give up. I'll stick with G1 and 90s Spiderman, where humans actually looked like humans and robots weren't all warped. And I haven't watched Batman since the early 90s, so I gave up on that years ago.
And what's with the armpit web? I hate that!!

It's how Spidy was drawn in the comics at one time. I actually like that little touch, though I do not like much else.

Yeah, in what? 1963? I also prefer a more muscular frame for Spidey. This slender stuff doesn't do it for me. Sigh. Back in the 80s superheros were buff.

I like a thin muscular frame for Spidey. He should never be to buff. I think he looks too small in the trailer.

Superheroes are supposed to be very muscular. They are the ultimate wish fulfillment. This skinny stuff doesn't do it for me. But that is my opinion. They'd never made a skinny Wolverine; why is it ok for Spidey? Cause he's a "regular" guy? Maybe he was slightly too big in the 90s toon but he should still be bigger than this.

He's fifteen. How many gigantic fifteen-year-old science geeks have you ever met?

I doubt this show will be as good as the 90s series on Fox.
That and Batman the Animated Series were great
