I agree. I'm glad I didn't get Seige Sideswipe and Red Alert now (due to the cr@pple damage paint). It always pays to hold off on buying TFs you're not happy with, as another version will usually come out again later.
Edit:

Ermmmmm, that's kind of what I thought the one time I saw TR Misfire, Twin Twist, and Perceptor on store pegs, and passed because their paint jobs weren't quite up to snuff. The gaps in that "usually" usually lead to $100 markups on ebay. The moral is, in a world where nothing is what it seems, ya' never know, so if you want it, buy it now and consider selling it later.primalxconvoy wrote:It always pays to hold off on buying TFs you're not happy with, as another version will usually come out again later.
If I don't like the Mirage my Kingdom Grimlock comes with, he might just go my 3rd cousins like Netflix Hound did.

Not really. Perceptor has had two fairly "recent" CHUG offerings and I'm sure the other characters you mentioned will get new versions in the future too. In fact, at the time, they're were the TT versions that you could have got. Patience is a virtue, especially in this hobby.

That's what I was getting at, hence the "complete bull" statement. I use a Photoshop-adjacent program frequently so the colours immediately looks like a bad colourise job.

Seeing as this product description implies that these 2-packs have both a designated subline name and lore behind them, I'm curious to see just how many of them there are, if it's more than the 2 we have listings for already. I could easily see there being some Con ones with some combination of Loudpedal, Slicer, Sandstorm or Double Punch, Buzzsaw, some of the Seekers we're still missing, etc.
plus how would a Galvatron II be any different from the already rumored/leaked Selects Toy colors Galvatron
...gonna be honest, it looks like that account was made today and most of that list is stuff that's already been leaked/rumored/hinted at by other actually credible leakers, so I'm not fully on board with this one yet. It certainly COULD be legit, but I'm skeptical for now.ZeroWolf wrote:So came across a post else where which says something I've been musing, that the Dinobots are going to be split between two lines, with two being in the follow up to Kingdom.

Intrigued by the Grimlock and Mirage listing, I would buy the Beast Wars Grimlock, but Mirage, ugh. He is getting his 4th use in about 2 years, and the fact that the mold is a nigh dead ringer for a Generations Slapdash and we are not getting that yet again is kind of really annoying.

I took Galvatron II to be the Selects Galvatron to be fair. However, the fact that they are new and contained some well known stuff is why I haven't newsed it yet. I'm more intrigued about the line breakdowns but, if other leakers back them up, then I'll act on it.

Here's a few reasons to discredit it for now:
- 1) There's no Beast Wars or Armada, but there's one new Prime mold... because apparently both Prime Optimus and Prime Bulkhead share a figure.
2) They also claim that all of the Insecticons are being made in SS86 over the next 0-2 years... yet only Shrapnel has had any known work done on them.
3) Blitzwing was rumoured for 2022 last year, but was later said to have been canned

Here's what's interesting to me about leakers...
Even when legit, there's no reward other than being trusted over time that you know inside info.
But it's not as if a leaker has any authority, control, decision-making power, etc. over what's being leaked. I guess it can be seen as "help"??
And when someone fakes "leaked info"... I really don't get it... The person is hiding behind a fake identity to begin with... And what's the reward when your info is proven wrong?
You misled people and possibly got someone excited about something that really isn't happening?
Cool, bro.
I hope the Insecticons are happening, whether in SS86 or not.
Also, that we end up getting the other 3 Dinobots between the end of this year and the end of 2022.

People do that because they perceive that it's hilarious to prank people on the internet. The reward is the feeling of entitlement that they tricked a bunch of people, which makes them feel intellectually superior

They are not going for anatomical accuracy, they are going for animation accuracy (and being able to transform).
That's what Dinobot's hands looked like in the show mostly:
And technically speaking that's what Velociraptor's hands have always been shown to look like in the past when the show was made:

Nothing animation accurate about those hands and if they were going the animation route on the figures, Black arachnia should have her alt mode parts (pedipalps or whatever they are called) -unless she doesnt have them in the kingdom part of WFc.

Yes, they are as accurate to animation as they can maker them while still being able to fit ins torso.
and no, Black Arachnia never had the pedipalps in robot mode, just her spider eyes:

It doesn't pass the smell test with me. A lot of it is just repeated information, and it's not even completely accurate for the stuff we now know, like the Amazon 2-Pack with Earthmode Mirage. It was speculated early on that he would come with Beast Wars II Skywarp, but we now know that it will be Beast Wars Grimlock, per the Amazon Australia listing. The best maybe we can say is that the leaker is passing along fairly old information right now.
