Man you guys are getting these late. Sure, I havent seen some of those 86 deluxes in stores, so I have my own issues, but man I thought these were out for everyone for a while now.

Anyways, Wheeljack being a wave 3 repack made me remember something I keep thinking about. My kids are watching the g1 show and I listen to the covid news and.. Wheeljack sounds just like Dr Fauchi.

Ah that makes more sense Well, let us know what you think. I feel I'm in a minority on thinking Ractonite blows but I find that odd. I think he's objectively a really weak design with being the first deluxe in the WFC trilogy to not have proper hands with fist holes.

Many others were simple waiting on Amazon taking their sweet time delivering wave 2. Due to Gamestop's weird pricing and Amazon's price match policy, many of us got them at $16.99.

As for Ractonite, I don't think he blows, but the hands are definitely a bit disappointing. Fore some reason, I just love his chunky bot mode (aside from the hands). I sort of feel the same way about Ractonite as I did with Siege Megatron when he was first out (way before the mold was used to death). Not bad, but could/should have been better.

I was amazingly able to see wave 2 deluxes at Walmart about a month ago, so I cancelled my Amazon pre-orders. I've seen mixed opinions on Ractonite, I see several who are disappointed with the seemingly unfinished hands. I don't mind, it's a pretty solid toy. But if I'm being honest, now that I know that a combiner mode exists, once I get them all, that is now they will stay displayed. Since the demonstrator was holding the figure, I just hope it holds up under it's own weight/proportions.

Normally I order the figures from an online store and would've had them already. They were sold out so I had to wait for Amazon, who has been getting everything late lately.

so anyone with huffer, is he just poorly designed or what? his cab section seems perpetually stuck looking up, I think it has something to do with the slots that tab into the arms being to big, whatever it is, it really lets the figure down, his bot mode is ok, but it doesn't really save it for me, since I'm not really attached to him at all

The cab on my Huffer looks pretty straight to me...

The cab on my Huffer looks pretty straight to me...

maybe you lucked out, but if his legs tab into his pelvis, then the truck mode gets scrunched, I've seen several reviewers have this problem, chefatron addresses it the most

The slope of where the grey truck bed/foot panel meets the yellow shin creates an optical illusion that makes the truck look bent when viewed from the side. Having the gun railings attached helps some, but the illusion is still there.

no there's definitely a design flaw with the tabs for the arms, if you hold the cab parallel to the ground, the rear wheels don't touch the ground

I didn't experience that flaw in the design. My main issue was the visible hands that the renders hid.

Nightprowler was easily convincing me to get the Two-pack since I've always loved Nightprowler's mystique and deco. Hopefully he's a Selects now?

Well, for anyone who wanted a member of a Combiner team, without the gimmick...here it is...maybe? Of of course Skywarp was a BW II character that shared the same body as BW Silverbolt II, but completely unrelated to the Deception seeker who's name he shares. Of course I'd be ecstatic if it was revealed later this was the first part of a new Magnaboss, but I seriously doubt it.

Funny thing about BWII Skywarp, he existed before he was ever a combiner. In fact, none of the BWII Magnaboss guys were a combiner at first. Santon and Skywarp existed as individuals on Cybertron, while Lio Junior was born on Gaia. It was only after the latter met the other two that they forced him into a fusion with them to create Magnaboss.

As such, this Skywarp could represent his original pre-combiner self.

I hope AU got it right since they were right about the Shattered Glass listings, even adding pictures to their Blurr and Megatron listings after Hasbro officially revealed them (they also have Goldbug listed without pics, but not Jetfire or Starscream). I'm buying this set regardless, but I'd rather have Nightprowler than Skywarp. Though I guess it's also possible there's a third set with Nightprowler and someone else, maybe earth mode Deep Cover?

Man and to think that just last year, Deep Cover was only one random redeco we once got. Now he's the most common toy I see on shelves when I do my groceries.

I remember when it was Clampdown that everyone wanted, he even got an MP. Hasbro seems to really like Deep Cover for some reason.

They probably just got the Trademark back so they're milking it in the meantime. Personally I don't see the appeal of Clampdown (besides completion's sake), he just seems like a desaturated Red Alert.

I'm really hoping it's still Nightprowler, he's much more appealing than BWII Skywarp. The best deciding factor would be comparing when the listings were put up, but I can't view the full page to compare.
