And that becomes a problem for those stores because it will either prevent new shipments from arriving or simply not being placed on the counter due to way too much overstock. I mean where do you go when the overhead is also completely full? Thus from here on out the odds of finding Cosmos don't seem to be improving.

Well, you never know what you will find when you are in the depths of Ebay.

Thanks to a new Ebay listing, we have what appears to be our first look at the mysterious Leader Class figure from the 2nd wave of the Walmart exclusive line, and in this case it is Victory Universe Galaxy Shuttle!

Galaxy Shuttle uses the Siege Astrotrain as a base mold, with a new head and Autoboy-y color scheme. He still possesses the Astrotrain train mode, now with an original paint job to make up for the fact that Galaxy Shuttle did not previously triple-change.

Galaxy Shuttle was a character who originated in the Transformers Victory cartoon, and it appears as if he will make a nice addition to the Haslab Star Saber which will be hopefully shipping soon.

I'm interested as it's a "new" character, but as it's the by p*ss-poor, AT mold (with the "unfinished" shuttle rear), I'm not so sold on it. The inflated price/irrelevant accessories are also not interesting for me.

I'll have to see some legit YouTubers review this and/or see if any add-on kits come out to fix the shuttle mode.

Oh wow, I actually did not see that coming. Pretty cool character choice. I liked Astrotrain so I might pick this up, if at least because I enjoy the more "traditional" colours for the shuttle.

It's Ebay and a reseller, so that won't be the MSRP.

He looks like he'll go excellently with the Botropolis Rescue Mission set from Earthrise. Train Mode tho... they did not plan the mold color layout that well in hindsight.

Probably an unfortunate compromise due to the original not having a train mode :lol:

Maybe they guessed Victory fans wouldn't really bother with the train mode and expected kids not to care all too much!

Pleasantly surprising character choice. I won't get it, because that mold is barely worth voyager price, much less leader price, even in those colors. But good to see a variety of characters getting the spotlight.

Same here, the headsculpt is very nice. Helps also make it feel distinct from Astrotrain along with the colour scheme. Perhaps one could even just slap some Decepticon symbols and pretend this is "Takara G1 Astrotrain"...

I saw someone mention that on Twitter, with a new head it could be toy colors Astrotrain. I like that idea, but I like Galaxy Shuttle more. Victory Saber is going to have a friend at least once he arrives!

I was hoping for a White Astrotrain for a while. Getting this without it just being "White Astrotrain" is a win-win. Yes the shuttle and Train modes have compromises but I am not going into this with Masterpiece expectations and I think it's fine.

The new head looks great and I love the Bot and Shuttle colors chimes. The train is broken up weird but I can take it.

Well that's an unexpected pull. I don't think I'll be getting it unless it goes on clearance, but it looks surprisingly enticing for such an obscure guy.

I wonder if he races in shuttle mode or train mode.

Wow, this is exciting. I just posted a while back about Leader Astrotrain and Doubledealer not getting any reuse, Galaxy Shuttle seemed a good fit (even though I think its a bit small), but I dont think we'll be getting a CC or Titan version any time soon, so I'll take it.

Hopefully a Selects Masterforce Doubleclouder (toy deco) isn't too far behind

I'm all down for this one. I like this character from Victory a lot and I love trains and will always take more of them in Transformers.

Even if I weren't budgeting the answer would still be no. The robot mode is striking in those colors, but neither mode does the job for me. I wonder why the landing pad / tender is in those colors. Works for shuttle mode, but makes it stand out in a bad way in vehicle.

The tender/launchpad is colored to look like the Rocket Base, which Galaxy Shuttle used in Victory.

Just curious if you've been able to find RiD Scourge? I saw 2 at a larger Walmart a few weeks back, but then just this past Sunday, I went to a smaller Walmart where I was shocked to see 4 on the shelf (Still no Cosmos), but it gives me hope of more likelihood of seeing this Galaxy Shuttle Leader on the shelf at some point.

I get that they had the mold there waiting to be used ... but a new mold could have been developed with a potential re-use for Armada Jetfire.

I never got the Astrotrain version, and the more I look at this the more I just go ... meh.

A bit of a shame indeed but I'm guessing HasTak were playing it safe using an older mold for a fairly obscure character.
