Technically the Motormaster in the Menasor boxed set is also a repaint. An extremely minor one, but still counts. I'm honestly surprised there aren't more Commander redecos, the price point seems to do well.
What I really dislike about the current era of Transformers is that Hasbro is going to go through the same thought exercise instead of doing something fun like coming up with a cool new color scheme for the sake of it and a new character and/or story to go along with that. I can even meet them in the middle and let them keep it the same character in new clothes. Point is, I think it'd be totally fine for them to put some of these out again in color schemes that just happen to look cool, purely for the sake of it. They won't though, and it makes me sad.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:As for the others, not sure what other deco Sky Lynx could get. Rodimus could definitely be a gold Primus or even a comic deco. Magmatron is a lot like Sky Lynx, not sure what they could do with him either.
