On the plus side, I went for a run today instead. Fingers crossed the site technical issues are behind us.

Unfortunately, when I got home from Seibertron HQ around midnight, I checked to make sure the site was working and it was not. Something with this server update that I'm trying to run keeps overwriting the files or settings to allow the web server to talk to the database server. It took me until 3:30am to get it all sorted out and to put some safeguards in place to prevent that from happening again. I won't know for sure until I try to initiate the server updates again but I made a lot of major changes last night/this morning that should prevent this from happening again.

The Search function for the news posts (or "Transmissions" as they're now called) doesn't work. The categories and years work, but no matter what keyword I enter in the Search box, the search results just give every single news post of that category and/or year, regardless of whether or not the news posts actually contain any of the keywords I search for.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Sabrblade. This should be resolved. I think I got quote search working as well now for exact matches. Feel free to test it to let me if you encounter anything unexpected.

Quotes aren't translating properly between the forum and the news. It looks normal in the preview, but published articles turn to unquoted text.

Just got a very NSFW ad that leads to: BimBamBam (whatever that is). Site itself doesn't appear as questionable as the add that features a video of a woman from the waste up on her back having sex in a see-through shirt.
