He's handsome, smart, and extremely brave.
He sacrificed his own life to help save everyone from Unicron in Armada.
He even has a soft spot for the kids.

I can't stand how they dipicted him in the Cybertron series though.

it realy depends on what continuity you look into as far as the whole intelect vs charming short sidedness

im no fangirl, (because im a dude) but starscream is very special to me, because he help shape my vision as a fantasy writer. Before starscream, cartoon and comic villans were pretty much the same, big, bad, evil, not always smart, take over the world/universe blah blah

But Starscream was random and chaotic. his goal was to kill his own leader and take his place. New concept to me at the time. he was sometimes bold, sometimes cowardly, always schemeing. This trait was drawing to me. Hes not the only atypicle villan to grace my favorites list. Magneto is there as well.

But starscream made me realize, that a hero is only as memorable as his/her villan

without a dynamic villan, why have a hero?

Thats why i fly the decepticon flag, i love the villans, and they need more loveing, so we can stop getting goofy retards for badguys in cartoons.

Starscream made a little 5 year old kid think, gee, what would i be like as a random psyco badguy? Which he then combined with his random daydreams of far off alien worlds into the beginings of a massiv story

Screamer was my greatest inspiration as a writer and artist. and being a fan of the bad guys was a good thing too

because when all the kids on my street wanted to play toys, i was the only one who had an evil army for them to fight, and so they had to play by MY rules muahahahaha!!!

I have to agree Immortal Starscream. I am no SS fangirl. However, Megs and Soundwave will forever be my favourite cartoon characters. Those three made being a bad guy cool.
