I have been collecting transformers since they first came out in 1984. Among some of my favorites over the years have been the G1 jets. I started with the original six jets: Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Dirge, Ramjet and Thrust. Just in the last year of two I have been very lucky to purchase a few more G1 jets: Sunstorm, Ghost of Starscream, the Black & Gold Starscream, and the two G2 jets Starscream and Ramjet. These two have the little soundbox that fits on the back of the jets!
Does anyone else have all these jets too? Attached is a pic of one of my prized chosen few!
Additional commments: Thanks for all the kind words! To answer some questions: All I have is the way of Classic seekers is: Starscream, Skywarp and Ramjet! I'm evy of waaaaghlord's complete collection of Classic seekers! I still need to acquire Classics Thundercracker, Dirge and Thrust. I do own the MP Starscream Jet, working on getting the MP Skywarp. I also have all the Armada/Universe Jets as well!

Sigh.. I love the Seekers but I still don't have G1 Ramjet and Thrust, or those Botcon exclusive Seekers. I plan to get them all one day even if they cost me arm and a leg.

Wow. Such a wonderful collection! I can only hope one day I will be able to own some of those special Seekers you have. I love the Seekers!

Seekers are my primary collecting focus, i have all the 6 G1 seekers (in varying conditions) and G2 Starscream and Ramjet.
I like how they have remained costant through the years in one form or another.
Beast Machines Jetstorm molds
Armada Starscream & Thrust Molds
Classics Molds
Little tip though, when moving home and packing your collection up put all the smaller kibble like landing gear somewhere with all the weapons where you will be able to recall....
Presently i have a bunch of seekers nosediving into a shelf that dont look so cool

At the moment the only G1 Seeker that I've got is the TRU reissue of Starscream, I really need to get around to getting some more of the set together. In the mean while I do have these little beauties.

I've been meaning to ask you waaaaghlord ... did you do the custom repaints? Or am I such a teerarded newb that I'm ignorant to those other 3 (possible legitimate releases) classics seekers?
Either way, they're freakin' sweet and I want 'em, too!
P.S. Sorry if this is the trillionth time you've been asked this question.

Starscream and Ramjet are from the main Classics line, Skywarp from the store exclusive 2 pack with Magnus and Thundercracker, Dirge and Thrust are from the Botcon 07 Games of Deception boxed set. I was fortunate enough to put in an order for the set before they sold out rather than paying the ridiculous $$$s that they've been going for on ebay since the con.
edit- If your 'meaning to ask' was in relation to my sig pic, that's lifted from Ryan's Classics Starscream gallery. There are galleries for the three from Classics in the Classics section and the three from Botcon in the Convention and Club Exclusives section.

Yeah imagine how cool it would have been to go to Wal-Mart or Toys R Us and find all the seekers in different colors in the toy isles... or to find 2-Packs of each seeker..or they could have bundled them up as a seeker squadron pack and had it for X-mas as a Gift set...
Sigh......
Maybe they will release the entire classics line up even the Botcon stuff down the road as an anniversary thing, with the classics toys released in G-1 style packaging..I'd love to see Hasbro import the Robot Masters Optimus Prrime with a little improvements and sell him in a G-1 style box with his signature trailer..
anyways, nice seeker collection!! I will have to find my seekers and display them all...

I basically just wanted to know if they were customs. I have Classics SS(x1), Skywarp(x3) and Ramjet(x3). After receiving my MP-06 Skywarp, I've been on a seeker collecting rampage. They are quite an addicting mold.
I'd like to have those Botcon exclusives, but I just looked on ebay. Eeep! The bids are under 100 each, but there is still 4 days left on all of the auctions. I'll have to keep an eye out for BIN's.
Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out for them now that I know they were actual releases. It's just my luck that they are RIDICULOUSLY rare.
Sorry for the mini-hijack.

Just when I think that I have just about everything I need ... BAM! Here we go again ...

Well don't expect any sympathy on this issue, most of the people here who will post in objection to your statements have atleast bought one exclusive seeker, either from the net or at the actual Botcon, so they really have no room to comment, but they will, because they feel they have to defend their purchase, problem is why condemn others who complain, when you already have so much? Still I'm a US citizen, and I can't even buy the seekers.. it's not like I don't have the money now, because I do, but 600.00 on a freaking Botcon exclusive, that should have been released inmass in the first place, is rediculous!!
It's like getting a Cyclops Marvel legends figure that's exclusive to a con, and paying 600.00 for it... which is just plastic painted in a plastic package, and the entire X-men minus Cyclops, Wolverine, and colossus were issued, but the only way you'd get the other 3 was through a con...
bottom line, the rest of the seekers should have been a regular release..
So I feel your pain, but doin't expect too much support from anyone here, especially if they own those Botcon exclusives..
I'm done with this, but I will say that in the future, if they do give us a wide release of the entire Classics series, then I'll finally pick them up, but for now, I hate the classics line.. because if you collect it, your paying out the arse to get all of them...!!! they were initially released Halfassed, and the other half relegated to exclusives from the Botcon..that right there will always piss me off..

Bit of a generalisation there. I would love to have seen these more widely available, partly because I could have paid a lot less for my own set, but mainly because more people should have had the chance to get the full set. At this time the best hope would seem to lie with Tom/Tak. To the best of my knowledge the Hasbro/FunPub exclusivity agreement would not interfere with Japanese releases of the Classics moulds. If there ever was a Japanese edition of Classics put out I could quite easily see 3 packs of the early Seekers and the Coneheads selling particularly well, and Starscream could even be done with more of a G1 colour scheme instead of the air show colours that we got with the Classics release. Thrust would have to be remoulded again however as the moulds used for con exclusives are deliberately designed not to hold up for large production runs, so it probably wouldn't end up being exactly the same Thrust as the Botcon set.
Anywho, we've got a bit off subject here. This is supposed to be a G1 Seekers appreciation thread.

I just felt the swift kick in the nuts of this fact today. It does piss me off, but I gotta get those seekers if I can find them at a half insane price.
The rest of the botcon stuff can go blow as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully a toy line in the near future will use the molds again. It won't solve the problem, nor will the toys be as valuable ... but it sure would be nice to know what I missed out on.
