THese two are the origonal beast wars ultra class releases with a more show accurate colourscheme with some metallic paint on each i believe.
Aside from th colours the mold is identical to the origonal unlike the beast wars reborn set which had remolded head sculpts

I think these are Takara release of Hasbros 10th Anniversary Beast Wars line that came out last year.If they are then These two had different Heads then the originals.

I wasnt referring to only the mouth plate I thought they reworked the whole head. And Megatron's head doesnt look like the original ether unless they just painted it black.
And I didnt know that they released a 10th anniversy toyline of figures first.I thought they just released the 2 leaders.I thought they might be doing the whole line of 10th anniversy figures now.

they did rework the wohle head on the beast wars reborn release but not on this one.
The reason i stated that primal has a mouth plate is because its the most obvious differnce between the remolded head and this the origonal one.
These two figures are identical to the origonal ultra class releases aside from colour. Megatrons head has exactly the same expression as the first version of the mold just looks differnt due to them using more than two colours on it brings out more details in the sculpt.
ill see if i can find better picures than the ones on bbts to show what megatron and primal actually look like in these releases

They are Voyagers by today's standard. During BW and RiD Hasbro used a different pricing scale, with Ultra at $ 19.99.

I just got that Primal today at a department store. It is definitely sweet. He's quite large, I'd say almost as big as Leader Prime. Was playing with him for the last hour or so, transforming him back and forth, playing around with all his nifty gimmicks and just generally enjoying the awesomeness of the toy.
The only problem I have with it is when his shoulder cannons pop up, they come up with so much force that the flaps that hang down under them (when over the shoulder) tend to pop off. Aside from that, he's damn near perfect. The mace hides inside his right forearm and his left forearm splits apart to reveal the dual cannons. Also, you can store every single weapon and missile on him in both bot and beast mode! He has a nifty gimmick where he can beat his chest in beast mode and when you transform him into bot mode, you flick a switch on each bicep and by pushing the chest beat lever, he spins his arms around! And this gimmick in no way affects his poseability!
I was going to pick up Megs as well, but was kind of low on funds, so I had to pass for now. Hopefully they'll still have Megs the next time I head over.

I'm having some difficulty deciding whether to get these two or not, I only developed an interest in Beast Wars recently, and since it's abit too late to get the older versions, I was thinking of getting these instead. Does anyone have know of a website with a gallery of their pictures? Beast Wars figures are pretty rare here and right now a local toy store is selling them as a pair, so I'm thinking of getting them. I remember there was a site owned by a japanese collector, I think his name was Kenko or something similiar, does anyone have a link to it? Thanks
